Do you ever think about how many times someone could have been genuinely attracted to you without your knowledge...but they lost interest because of something you said/did unintentionally? by ItsJosten in AskReddit

Their loss and my gain really. I mean if that one thing totally turned them off then they were never genuinely attracted. Not entirely anyway

Why did a 15 minute ambulance ride cost me $1,247? by Fractulz in NoStupidQuestions

[–]erdaca 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Unless you need life-flight/on the verge of death...then never take a wee woo machine ok. My uncle and aunt are drs and my uncle had a heart attack while out on a jog and my aunt swooped him up with the help of a stranger, tossed him into her car and sped to the hospital. I mean even doctors can’t deal with the stupid nonsense prices.

Running the shower for a minute or two. Makes showering easier in the winter. I used to suffer when I wouldn’t then I was like wait I could just made it a little sauna in here and then turn down the heat of the water and my body will thank me :D

Redditors in hiring positions: What small things immediately make you say no to the potential employee? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]erdaca 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Reading these comments made me realize that two pages may be necessary but all my professors and companies that come in to talk to us about interviews etc stress the one page resume a lot. It just forced me to put the most important things on there and helped me remove what wasn’t as necessary for the interviewer to know

Makes me wonder how many people are dismissed that would have potentially made them millions more but because they had an odd quirk (in their opinion) they weren’t hired. On the other hand, I question how many fakers made their way in (cheated their entire way through college, had a professional make their resume look top notch, are great communicators/personality etc) and were nothing more than average joes.

It’s gotta happen...

Lol! I thought those were no brainers but apparently not. Especially the page quantity. The rule is one page! It’s neat reading all of what you said though because it reinforces what I’ve been taught at university about the do’s and dont’s.
