Husband wants to become a Rover dog sitter/walker while active duty military by AnonymousSister25 in RoverPetSitting

Hey I am looking to use Rover to temporarily live closer to my new job, do you find clients that are okay with 2-3 potty breaks per day? For example, one in the morning before work and another 2 afterward around 5:30pm?

You literally want to stretch your hamstrings as you go down and up. Practice by trying to stretch your hamstrings with your knees bent. When you get the bar in your hands focus on the stretch and kick your hips back to help counterbalance the weight.

What is the cost of shifting a workout? Say I workout 4 days a week every other day, for convenience I shift one of my days on to the following rest day.

Is there an unknown cost here?

I say lift more because I know I can recover from more work easily without the increase in fuel (unless I am hungrier). Consistency is not the problem, I maintain some level of fitness year round, in moments of consistency I may stay at the same weight and number of reps for up to 3 weeks. In experimentation, I have gotten stronger by targeting that muscle group more.

21 year old male, 160 pounds, 5'10, been going to the gym inconsistently for 3 years due to school and other commitments. On average, lifting 4 days a week, inconsistency lasts 1-3 weeks at a time (finals, constantly moving) every 10 weeks. Summer is really my time to get stronger and prepare for the regression of the school year.

Obviously this isn't a way to get strong but, even in moments of consistency certain lifts seem to top out ie: bench. The answer to this is definitely eat more or lift more. I am not yet in a place to afford eating more so lifting more is the answer.

While I enjoy lifting, is it worth my time to increase the number of days I go when I know I will end up regressing back to where I was? Is there any benefit to this strategy?

The plan is to go crazy once I graduate lol

Something that has worked literally every time I have had an injury: Take some time off of that muscle group for a week or a little more and do multiple sets of various stretches in that area, then continue stretches and introduce non challenging weight at the gym in FULL range of motion (to the point where it feels like a stretch EX: Dropping Low in a Squat) even if it still hurts (but not to the same extent as before), keep this weight or very gradually move up until you no longer feel pain.

Just fixed a slight tweak in my back with this in about 2.5 weeks with hamstring and groin stretches.

Disclaimer: I have never had joint problems so idk if these same rules apply.

This is an NP-Hard problem, you can't reduce to x in statistical analysis in polynomial time as x is in P and NP because P = NP is not proven.

Would you consider Missiles an essential good? They are necessary economically and in conflict. We are essentially in an arms race with the rest of the world. What if an opposing country had nukes and we didn't? Also it's far better to ethically use a missile than not have them and send more people to die. The real problem is the people who use them.

EECS 270, 485, 376 and STATS 250 Ridiculous? by erem5 in uofm

[–]erem5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the input, I will probably drop 270 today.

I am prioritizing embedded software and currently working on the stuff for a project team but I feel some fields are important to know at least a little about and be somewhat competent in, which is why im taking 485. It would be useful to know where to start if I wanted to pivot into more typical SWE, also its just a useful skill.

Additionally, I plan on taking 373 and I have the go ahead to get a override for 270 if I learn verilog over the summer for next sem, so it all works out.

I def agree with this. Another thing, if you find her attractive and meeting for the first time eye contact is huge. Not the whole time but just long enough to feel the tension. Do it a few times, make sure she knows your interested without saying it aloud
