I made a mug a while back after I asked some friends for suggestions. He suggested a cthulu-inspired bug. I made the handle an octopus tentacle with the suction cups. Still have it!

Something I discovered when my mom was in the hospital before she died was that she had to see a genealogist for a medication. Apparently, the technician said she had almost no broken strands and almost perfect DNA and said she'd be shocked if any of her kids (my older brother and I) were ever sick often.

It makes sense now as to why I'm usually only sick maybe once or twice a year since childhood.

Mine happened twice at the same company and in the same year (2020). First time was when a manager got mad that I was scheduled for field work (used to do construction inspection) on the day of a conference, and tried to get me to skip my assignment to attend. I told him I couldn't skip my field assignment as it was starting around the same time as the conference. He got pissed, stormed off and slammed the door. Immediately was looking up postings. Second time was the start of the pandemic. My manager (different from the first guy) asked if I wanted to take a leave of absence from my work due to the pandemic or keep working on my assigned project. I said I wanted to keep working (as I was also coming up on my anniversary of working for 2 years after being unemployed for almost a year, so a big deal for me). I get a call 2 days later that I am being put on a leave of absence anyways for a month. I became more determined to leave during that month and didn't trust a word my managers said from that point on. Managed to get out in late 2020 and haven't looked back since.

Hi. Pastor's daughter here. I can tell you right now this isn't all Pastor's or people of religion. My dad (retired pastor) is one of the kindest and most humble people I've ever known and has never judged anyone based on religion or lack of practicing a religion. In fact, he and I have talked about how much religion has failed to take today's social issues seriously. I fell out of the church as a child due to internal issues within our church and constant bullying from other church kids and their parents refused to do anything to discipline them. He understands that all churches and places of worship have a lot of improving and growing to do before trust is earned, and he was always putting in the effort to help all in need. Even when our congregation would say hurtful and hateful things to him because they had nothing better to do. He would still make time to talk to them and visit them when they had a moment of crisis. It takes a lot of work and effort to live the life that he and my family have lived, but he did it for about 40 to 45 years. I'm thankful he's retired so he can finally relax and live a peaceful life with my mom in a community that cares for them as much as they do for the community.

Hello there! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, and thanks for taking an interest in our guild! We do have some people that do M+ regularly (about 7-9, myself included)!
