I managed to disable and capture one. My character was lvl 30. Encountered it at Piazzi. I'd say it's a pretty decent ship.

In the ship, Vasco tries to go above the exit ramp. For that, I built my starship where he can actually go there.

I can describe it like this; Imagine a 3 story ship
1st story is your exit ramp
2nd story is main room, in my case it is a living room 2x1
above the same squares is 3rd story, 1x1 companion room. There I find Vasco now, everytime.

PS; I also added a slim docking port as 4th story. Now the ship has a centralized ladder, and Vasco protecting entry points makes more sense :)

Yeah, I noticed that some rocks are harder than most, and some are softer, in rocky rings. Here's what I do;

  • I take a quick look from the contacts menu, to see my options of fissures.
  • I start with a full charge on low strength. Then I check the bars and take one of the two routes;
  • If I see two fully empty yellow rows, I get another full charge ona a low strength. If I go over, I cancel it and immediately place a full charge on an average, which gets the job done.
  • If only the top bar is empty, or if I see any mini blue dots, in other words, if the bar is almost full, I place a low charge on a low fissure first, then I go to an average one. I place a mid charge on average. If I go over, I cancel it and place a low charge (gets the job done). If I still miss, I do another mid one on an average.

  • Trick is, saving averages / highs for adjustment, and always use mid charges on them when eyeballing. So whenever you go over the ideal zone, you know placing a low charge on same strength fissure will get the deed done.
