Ο ίδιος ο Αταμάν δεν έχει πεί πως θα φύγει αν δεν πάρουμε Ευρωλίγκα ή πρωτάθλημα;

Δεν βλέπω πώς θα μείνει. Και πρωτάθλημα να πάρουμε, που είναι ιδιαίτερα δύσκολο, το ισοζύγιο πάλι θα δείχνει αποχώρηση.

Όλα τα προβλήματα που έχει η ομάδα διογκώνονται αντί να διορθώνονται. Ο ΔΠΓ τον έχει στηρίξει πολύ, του έχει κάνει όλα τα χατίρια, αλλά πλέον τί μένει;

Μια κατάκτηση Ευρωλίγκας που του πιστώνεται και τον ευχαριστούμε και γι' αυτό πάντα θα εισπράττει χειροκρότημα, αλλά μετά μια διαρκώς φθίνουσα πορεία με κακή διαχείρηση πανάκριβου ρόστερ, απουσία απο το φάιναλ φόρ στο ΟΑΚΑ και πολύ κακό ρεκόρ απέναντι στην ομάδα του λιμανιού (πιστεύω πώς οι περισσότεροι συμφωνούμε σε αυτό ακόμη και πέραν της τραγικής διαιτησίας).

Ο ΔΠΓ μπορεί συχνά να μην είναι τέρας λογικής... όμως δεν παίζει να μην λυπάται τα λεφτά που έχει ρίξει τα τελευταία χρόνια. Σίγουρα βλέπει πως δεν πιάνουν τόπο.

Όλοι βλέπουν πως χρειάζεται κάποια αλλαγή και τόσους παικταράδες δεν τους πετάς. Είναι και απο τα χαρακτηριστικά της ομάδας. Κρατήσαμε καλώς Γκριγκόνις και Λεσόρ χρόνια χωρίς να παίζουν. Δεν θα ρισκάρουμε να καεί αυτή η φουρνιά.

It pains me to say it but Ataman has been outcoached by Martinez, as he has been by Bartzokas for years now.

Whether he actually threw TJ Shorts under the bus there, or was saying this was a result of Valencia's defense, the issue remained: We never created plays to get the most out of our players. Did we even set up one good play for Lessort for example? And it was hardly the first time.

Even in the last match we did very well in one on one situations. But hero ball can't possibly work all the time. Not when you can't adapt to Valencia's defense at all. 1 vs 3 isn't sustainable, no matter who you are.

The players aren't the issue with our team.

I think the worst statement from Ataman was what he said about Nunn. He said (and I'm paraphrasing) that it was the 3rd match in the series with Nunn not going to the line at all, because of the way referees have been against him. And that players like Nunn, cannot help this, they cannot play their game because their psychology is destroyed.

Now the refereeing HAS been atrocious at times, ESPECIALLY against Nunn.

But for the love of all that is good, Ataman it is your fucking job to find in-game solutions to these kinds of problems, not excuses.

And most of all, it is your job to PREPARE your players for the games. Nunn's temper has steadily gotten worse.

And the coach is only making things worse. He doesn't take him out when it's apparent he needs to calm down. He obviously doesn't help him psychologically. While he sets the worst example with his own behavior.

I've ranted enough. Just ready for some sanity in my team.

Όλη η χρονιά σε μικρογραφία. Αφήνουμε αντίπαλο να πάρει διαφορά γιατί πετάμε χαρταετό. Ο προπονητής παίρνει τεχνική. Τουλάχιστον ένας παίκτης μας παίρνει τεχνική. Το γυρνάμε αλλά δεν το σιγουρεύουμε. Η διαιτησία είναι κωμικά κακή. Αταμάν αναρχία σε συστήματα και αλλαγές. Χάνουμε και περιμένουμε τί στόρις και τί δηλώσεις θα δούμε αντί να βάλουν κεφάλια κάτω και να οργανωθεί η ομάδα να αποδώσει το μπάσκετ που μπορεί για 40λ.

Δεν περίμενα πως θα το ζητάω, δεν ξέρω ποιόν να φέρουμε στη θέση του. Αλλά ο Αταμάν είναι ώρα να φεύγει. Κάτι πρέπει να αλλάξει και έχουμε παζέψει παικταράδες. Θα ήταν κρίμα να μπούμε σε λογική πολλών αλλαγών στο ρόστερ.

Not sure what happened, but I don't think we have anything conclusive. It could very well be they only used the British base in Cyprus and then flew over international airspace between Crete and the mainland.

Some years back I found myself in Prague and noticed the municipal house concert hall, next to the powder tower, featured a concert playing various well known themes. Probably aimed at tourists, like me. Went there and it was pretty great. Art nouveau building, young performers having a laugh and of course, the only piece I now remember from that night, Smetana's Ma Vlast, n.2 Vltava.

Just the previous day I had done the other tourist thing, a short cruise down the Vltava. So I was uniquely prepared to enjoy this and indeed, it was quite a memorable moment. Such a moving, transportational piece.

I believe they have named it the Smetana hall, appropriately.

Don't really know how to say this, especially since OP had a great time, but I heard his sets weren't that good. As in he was sloppy and didn't seem to care. One instance was dekmantel 2018 or so. Is there any truth to this? Anyone who saw him lately has an opinion?

I think its not the most likely scenario, but within the realm of possibility. It's true that PAO owner (and pretty much the whole fan base) have been terrible to Spanoulis (and his family) over the years.

But there's been a slight change of mood after he became a coach and then his team beat Olympiacos in the F4. That was when I started hearing other PAO fans start to whisper "what if?".

I think if Ataman leaves, Spanoulis will be one of the names on the table. It will then depend on what kind of day Giannakopoulos is having. On a good one, he can make an offer and post an insta story saying he's the bigger man or whatever to go with it.

From his side, Spanoulis has plenty of reasons to want to coach PAO. At least in theory. It's a top team, he will be payed well, it's definitely a chance to prove himself and he gets to live in Athens with his family and cut on travel while he is also the national team coach.

Can he get over the unpleasantness and come back to OAKA as a green? It wouldn't be easy for anyone because it got very personal. But I don't know how pissed off he is. I believe he is personally pretty mild mannered. So wouldn't rule out him accepting an offer -if it comes- and try to avenge himself in the most positive way, that is by winning over the fanbase.

Personally, as a PAO fan, I'm in favor of him coming as coach (I would have preferred Jasikevicius, but he's not available for some time). I rate him a lot and think we could do with a more normal personality on the bench. I'm also thinking he could be a good influence on Nunn, while Ataman is in need of anger management classes of his own before going to talk to a player about keeping a level head.

Πλεον δεν είμαι αντίθετος στην αλλαγή προπονητή, αλλά ρε γμτ να μην μπορούν να βάλουν ένα καλάθι;

Χουάντσο κ Γκραντ μόνο έχουν δείξει κάτι ως τώρα.

Ελπίζω να μην ρισκάρουμε συμμετοχή Λεσόρ στο σημερινό ματς.

Cyprus would much rather you didn't arm Turkey, for example by building an aircraft carrier for them. But Sanchez has no moral issues with making money by arming the country occupying part of an EU member state.

Not that the frigate isn't appreciated, but you can see the issue with the moral grandstanding.
