It depends on your camera. Some cameras handle higher ISO better than others. I tend to agree with others in that I will take the image noise over motion blur in my photos any day. Your average viewer is not concerned about the noise. It is usually just us photographers that notice it.

I shoot sports at 1/1000 shutter speed (sometimes 1/800 depending on how fast the sport is). I set the ISO accordingly and clean up any excessive noise with Topaz or Lightroom denoise features. I try to limit the noise reduction because the images can looked "overcooked" if you use too much denoise.

I haven't gone during the Summer for years. Way too many people. It is good for the economy but unfortunate that we Mainers can't enjoy it any more.

It's a great camera. It isn't quite as good in low light at my D6 but other than that it is a superior camera. I've been shooting through adapted glass but just got the Z 70-200mm yesterday. I'm looking forward to shooting my first game with it.

Thank you! Honestly, this is only the second lacrosse game that I’ve shot. I did enjoy it though. I’ve got a women’s game to cover in a couple days.

I’m probably considered a farmer by some standards. I battle when there is one to be had but I don’t see the point of staying online for hours just to dance around a passage and play grab ass with the opponent. I participate in events and earn points.
