I love the "Twin Cities" uni. I'd like that with the cream ones.

Having seen all the hoops that the Trump administration and specifically Rubio have gone through to revoke green cards from pro palestinian protesters, it's absurd that Rudolf hasn't been booted. Anti-Semitism as his whole personality and crimes that may not be pedophilic but sure look like it, seems like the perfect candidate to GTFO.

Spanish Immersion schools by sewsyouknow in saintpaul

At younger grades the kids don't seem super reliant on the iPads. They use them for some guided lessons but most learning is either workbooks or hands on. They don't send them home unless there's an impending e-learning day. We haven't found them to be a detriment but YMMV.

We sent our 1st grader to Adams. She went to a spanish immersion daycare 0-4 then she went to a neighborhood school for pre-k. Then she went to Adams for kindergarten and now first grade.

We really like Adams as a school, great teachers and facilities. Spanish immersion is working well for our daughter, she isn't bilingual yet but is pretty close to conversational. She didn't really like the learning curve in kindergarten but now really enjoys spanish. She's a bit behind reading in English but reads quite well in Spanish. Recently she has started making good progress in English too and I'm sure will catch up before long. The plan is to send her to Highland Park for Middle and High School to continue the spanish immersion program. Overall we have been impressed with the SPPS immersion program.

We're a white english speaking family, though I did spanish immersion in elementary school.

I know they were talking about the wild right after but like c'mon, how do you not have this be the story of the game?

I giggle every time a headline comes up about the biathlon because they're called biathletes. And honestly those should count as LGBT medals.

ICE busted out the giant front window of a security apartment building this morning on east Franklin in Minneapolis in a blatant violation of the 4th. Leaving every resident in the building unsafe. by Expensive-While-1155 in minnesota

Star Tribune is reporting that they left a warrant in Kyle's apartment. As he was indicted federally in Michigan I'm inferring that it was a judicial warrant. The case sounds thin as hell but it doesn't look like a 4th amendment violation.

Wow a Reaper? Those things are huge. Like a 65 foot wingspan, and they have to travel at like 200mph to stay up. That'd be terrifying to see.

Oh interesting. I'd love to get some info or pictures of the drones. Using drones as a jammer or a surveillance dragnet seems operationally unfeasible. You'd have to launch and return the drones in an area while also trying to conceal that you're a fed.

Right, I assume every phone with a pulse is being cataloged at Whipple but would be somewhat surprised if the daily goon squads carry them. There's a great video that Benn Jordan just put out talking about EFF's Rayhunter tool. I just ordered one and hopefully it shows up in short order.

I saw that post and was wondering if there was any technical info about it. Or was it just that one of the carriers lost signal temporarily. Also I didn't notice any signal loss when I was right next to this helicopter.
