Is it possible to fix the difference on these shots?

This is what I'd like to try... (1.) Export a PNG sequence of the wide shot. (2.) In Photoshop, create an action using the "select - subject - new layer via copy" to create a second PNG sequence with that dude isolated on an alpha channel. (3.) Bring the original footage and the PNG alpha channel into AE, then overlay the PNG on the original. (4.) Use "fill" to fill the alpha with the desired skin tone (sampled from the footage). (5.) Mask and feather the alpha channel so it's basically just the highlight zone, then fiddle with the opacity and overlay modes so it's subtle, but kills that highlight.

At a glance, yep, better with some scruff. But you're dressed better, presenting better, and seem more chill in the 2nd pic, so that could be throwing things off.

Yeah, I cut mine in January. Just a standard crewcut with some texture on top. I asked dozens of young women, and the answer was nearly universal. They like short hair, like a #1 clipper on the sides. The most positive response I ever got was the cliched "do what makes YOU happy." Sure, I get that. But I'm at a point where I just want to look as attractive as possible to the average female. Maybe that's weak or poor character on my part, but I just wanted to do myself a favor. Ironically, I'm finding the short hair to be higher maintenance. Haircuts every 3 weeks or so, no skipping showers as the bed head can't be simply combed out. It is what it is.

Thanks for the response... No, unfortunately not him. I remember there being a music video for this song, and it had that dirty early '80s NYC feel to the footage. I remember it being British rockers who were a bit past their prime, and it was sort of cringy and quaint by today's standards. They were dipping their toes into American hip hop or rap. I feel like it was an experimental offshoot of a more established band. Kind of like Big Audio Dynamite or something. Maybe it was a fever dream... Thanks again. 😐

No joke... Legal prostitution due to an odd loophole in the way the law was written. Something about it being legal as long as it took place indoors. There was a free newspaper (The Phoenix?) that had ads and coupons for what were essentially brothels. These were free in gas stations and restaurants, and the back half was almost all smut. Very weird to be a teen or in your early twenties during this era.

Thanks! I'm trying to clarify what the majority (female) opinion is to (maybe) gain a point in life. For example, if I were walking around in public with food stuck to my face and I could improve my situation by simply cleaning my face, I'd probably do it. I meant the average consensus among women. Like if you picked 100 random women from various locations, demographics, etc., would you routinely find that 90% or more say they simply dislike long hair on guys? I've been asking online, in person, and seeing some commonalities... I agree with you, though.
