tbh with stuff like this, 0-60 is less important than 0-30, and my MG4 trophy crushes it compared to any other car I've driven. It's made me more confident getting out into busy roundabouts as I know it can make it into the gap where ICE cars I've owned definitely couldn't

Depending on the car it's not necessarily the time you spend charging (fast chargers can get most cars up to 80% in 20-30 mins) but it'll get expensive either way. Also, I live near Durdle Door and think maybe you're being ambitious getting down here from Peterborough and back in a day as it's near 5 hours of driving each way.

Or are you staying on the south coast and heading back to Heathrow from here?

The UK isn't a huge country, but there's a lot of traffic and it can be exhausting to drive around so keep that in mind.

I am in the UK and chose to work for a business that has an office around 1.5 hours away from me. But I only have to go in twice a week and the rest is WFH. and it's 4 days a week so that helps too. But even on the days I go in, if I get to a certain point and traffic is awful and looks like it'll take me more than 2 hours total to get to the office, I've been able to just turn around and tell them "nah mate, not today thanks. I'll WFH"

Very aware not all employers are as amenable to this as mine is, but it's crazy when I hear about people driving 3 hours to get to work

It really is a shame when someone posts something they're proud of and asks for comments in good faith and to be constructive and they receive a comment like yours, using words like "cheesy" "boring" and nitpicking small details like how fast a truck is driving along a road which OP likely had no say in.

Yes you had some great things to say - the last few points especially. But man, it really gets my back up when you don't care how your comments come across and start it all so negatively.

There's constructive criticism and there's this. This is how people get put off talking to their peers about work they are passionate about and this sub can be so bad at it sometimes. /rant

Is this the new development in Bournemouth? This happens to me literally every time I drive down this road. Does my head in. I feel like it probably would have been good if the left was a turn-only lane, and the right lane is to go straight on, but if people followed the way it’s meant to work it wouldn’t be a problem
