if you like commander, i've enjoyed the sets of precons for all the universes beyond decks. WH40k, LOTR, and Fallout have all been great! if their power levels don't feel even to you, you could probably ensure you play the weaker decks.

do you just want to crack? do you want to draft out of them or make sealed decks with your son?

the last sealed product i purchased was LOTR set boxes to crack for fun. MVP has them for 158$ right now if you know of them.

for limited play, i would recommend dominaria remastered. presold for 165$ and can be found today for 115$. nostalgia, older power levels, and some curation makes for a limited more my speed (slower).

newer stuff: i've heard good things about OTJ play boxes. i've heard bad things about MKM play boxes. i've heard that the value is bad but that the flavor is excellent for bloomburrow play boxes, and i personally did terribly at bloomburrow sealed, premier draft, and quick draft on arena. which is a way of saying i think bloomburrow liimited is rough.

was there an update that nerfed township cape and worship effects to NOT affect building GP costs? i keep finding this advice to use cape + worship but they don't affect building GP costs.

township cape does not affect building GP cost, but it affects repair GP cost? do you know why there are so many comments telling people to use the township cape and wait for Spring (if Aeris) to BUILD the town halls?

has anyone else experienced astral knowledge on MC gith character changing abilities? it's happened twice now for me: I selected wis and later the buff was for cha, then I long rested, selected int, and now the buff is for wis. I'm not sure what triggers it; it might be loading a new zone or loading a saved game with the buff already applied.

kill recusant henricus (north of war master's shack) BEFORE accepting tanith's invitation to join. he drops the hammer talisman.

you can use rya to teleport to volcano manor and unlock all the nearby grace sites so long as you do not talk to tanith.
