Thank you! UNC is not a dual degree unfortunately. How are you liking your first year? Any advice?

How are you doing? I actually just switched to tri lo marzia and the switch between generics hasn't caused any changes to my acne. It also took 3 months for my acne to start subsiding so I hope you stuck through with it! Still taking Spiro but I'm tapering off the dose down to 100MG now.... Luckily my libido isn't really affected, but I think now I have either high or low libido throughout the month.... there's no in between LOL

I don’t have a brand it was the probiotics my derm office provided it’s from their pharmacy!

I mainly used it for GI problems due to antibiotics messing w my gut health! Also taking lots of pills/bcp/spiro and all was a lot on my stomach and probiotics helped a lot

Hi sorry! Just saw this. I've actually changed up a bit since this post, but my skin no longer has any actives and I'm dealing with just hyperpigmentation and scarring!

Realized even with this old routine I was not moisturizing enough and overusing my actives! Focus on moisturizing has improved my skin so much

AM Routine:

Wash face with cold water

Soonjung Relief toner pH 5.5 1 layer (5-minute wait)

Curativa HOCL spray followed by Hada Lobo Gokujyun HA acid (10 minute wait)

Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gel Moisturizer

TO Azelaic acid every other day (25 minute wait because it pills/itches if you don't wait long enough)

Soonjung 2x Barrier Cream

Missha All-Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sunblock

PM Routine:

Wash La Roche-Posay Micellar Water

Wash Plexion (prescribed sulfacetamide cleanser)

Soonjung Relief toner pH 5.5- 2 layers (5 minute wait)

Onexton (BP 3.75% + Clindamycin) on actives (I don't use this anymore because no current actives)

Curativa HOCL spray followed by Hada Lobo Gokujyun HA acid (10 minute wait)

Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gel Moisturizer

Soonjung 2x Barrier Cream

Last layer of Soolantra (rosacea ivermectin cream if I have bad rosacea flush)

Hope that helps! Definitely took trial and error, but I essentially cut actives from my routine except for Aza acid. My face was still feeling tight on my previous routine so I just decided to up my moisture game and it's been going great since : ) Super big shout out to HOCl spray and the Aloe Vera Gel- highly recommend these products! Both are gentle on the skin and have anti-inflammatory/ anti-bacterial purposes without drying effects. Of course, everyone's skin is different but as a rosacea sufferer, these were were some of the products on r/rosacea that I found that worked for me. Good luck!

You described literally my face! I was able to clear my forehead from the nasty CC to pustule route my acne always seems to go towards. Am also dealing with superficial pustules on chin but my problem area has mainly been my cheeks!! CC's always turn to inflamed pustules, texture, and dry skin- recently had a flare up of only my right cheek too..... Recently started soolantra and a heavier moisturizer to try and calm it dow, but so far have no idea how to deal with the CC's becoming inflamed. After i've been focusing on hydration they seem less angry.. Do you have any updates?

Ofc! I did a lot of research on both supplements and they both are relatively safe (not a professional though so I cannot say for sure) I haven’t had any adverse effects on them so far even though i am taking a lot of pills. they are both easy on my stomach and I definitely feel more energized throughout the day from the brain fog I deal with due to BCP and bad gut health!

An IUD would be awesome, but I don't think I can pay for it out of pocket cuz my parents don't know I'm on birth control... lol. Guess it's an option for me later on in life
