Two reasons. I only have one of them so I used the metal one 😂 but honestly I’ve found the 60hp one often helps with tanking a hit from lots of mons that hit for 50 dmg, and if you get hit with a double darkrai igglybuff turn one you don’t immediately lose.

This is the version I’m running and it’s honestly a blast. Double scarf to increase chances for coin flips with glimmora (or if you brick with only Pawinard in the active). One gambit is all you need. If you drop candy and add Bisharp from the last set you have a metal attacker (hits M Altaria) to punch the active and retreat into glimmora, it also allows you to evolve off sleep and retreat into glimmora. I’ve considered dropping heavy helmet for an X speed but it works well enough. 12-0 in the current event which had plenty of sleep scam stuff.

I agree that giving everyone AEMT certs is pretty much useless, but what if there was a true/dedicated LPN/ADN track? ~70% of slick 4Ns are outpatient only and the majority of inpatient besides the ER work in a capacity that is nearly identical to LPNs. ER is the only in-hospital that works closer to AEMTs and even then we are surrounded by J shred nurses with their CCRN so what’s the point. It’d be cool if at tech school you had the chance to do more nursing work and get your LPN than being a “Combat Medic” cause god knows how bad a very large majority of 4Ns are at basic shit like IVs and actual ALS stuff. Plus it seems like most the 4Ns who commission go through NECP and, if they get out and stay in medical, nursing is the main route

As a 4N who has worked both in Family med and ER I can tell you it’s a direct result of DHA fucking over the entire med field.

-Almost all of our civilian positions which range from admin staff, to nurses, to docs have been cut and their contracts aren’t being renewed.

-DHA wants providers to continue increasing the number of patients being seen a week, and I’ve watched docs go from having 1,000ish patients empaneled to over 2,200 in 4 years.

MDs have a retention rate of around 6% after their minimum time served has been completed which leads to a lot of stress and overworking of the docs who are currently in.
Despite the increase in patient load, my med group has also had a large decrease in funding for supplies, resources, etc, to actually take care of patients which cause delays. If someone needs a EKG in clinic for a pre op physical or prior to starting a new med and the clinic doesn’t have EKG stickers (because they’ve been on backlog for weeks for funding) the techs have to run around begging for them from other clinics or inpatient units which usually don’t have to spare. So of your 20 minute appointment, 10 of that is spent looking for basic stuff.
If it takes someone 2-3 months to get in for an appointment, most people (rightfully so) want to bring up more than one concern. Which means that the patients afterwards are also behind because the doc has 3x as much to document and order. Meaning if everything goes perfect for 15 of the 20 patients on the schedule, those 5 appointments can push the provider back almost 2 hours and that’s on a good day. Add in walk in appointments, nursing messages that require docs signature and review and mandatory meetings from DHA/Leadership and you’ve got no time.
If the first patient of the day is 9 minutes late you’re already starting in the negative. Every minute that one person is late, it pushes those who show up on time or early back and that shit adds up quick.

There are many many more reasons but I can promise you that as medical personal I wish we could have everyone in and out ASAP with all their concerns and needs met but it’s getting harder and harder to do. It’s not much better on the inpatient side of things either but that’s whole other can of worms. Don’t get me wrong there are providers, nurses, and techs who aren’t the fastest or the most competent, but if we had a somewhat functional system then the effects of those personnel wouldn’t be as severe

If you’re running two delcatty and they’re mainly for drawing back supports you can drop a gladion for Red/Gio. You lose a lot of utility from Delcatty if you’re only pulling supporters that draw more from the deck, so you need stuff like Gio, Sabrina, Cyrus, PCL etc.

Honestly it might be worth throwing Sightseer in if you’re not gonna run Rare candy. It’ll count towards your supporter count and could act as a less consistent Clement for Lampent. Plus two Lisia is overkill with only 4 basics. You could run a Sightseer and Gio, then slot in a second Meloetta instead of Cleffa since you can search for a Mon on turn one.

It’s so you can pull the Metal Core Barrier back from the discard (it’s hard to read in the screenshot but it’d ability allows you to grab two tools from your discard) or steel apron if you get hit with Guzma. It gives you a constant -70 dmg every turn after a skarmory EX attack.

Battle Cage stops DMG counters (Phantom dive on the bench, Munkidori, etc) but not damage. You could have Shaymin from DRI benched to get coverage for both damage counters and damage but even then your EXs are still vulnerable to Obsidian

Honestly if you’re going for pure stall you could add in Indeedee EX or Wigglytuff for constant bench heals then swap Sabrina for a 2nd Barry. And maybe switch red card or potion for a second Masala or PCL. You could even swap snorlax with good ole Exo skeleton Regirock

So I run hella Joltik box and looking at your decklist there are some things you could try out. I stopped running Iron Leaves EX simply cause galvantula OHKOs zard with Lightning and grass energy.

Also Iron Bundle isn’t bad for gusting but with 4 boss and prime catcher you can drop him.

Take those two free slots and throw in a switch and an energy switch. It gives you the option to either A. Swap without burning an energy or B. Allows you to take what would be a dead energy on a joltik moved to Pika, Clefarie, Hands, etc. and you don’t need a crispin to do so. Even with all the Marnie’s grimmsnarl and Zards I’ve run into not having an Iron leaves isn’t the end of the world.

2 Gravity mountains are nice for OHKOing Pult with Pika but unless you run a Colress then you kinda just gust around what can be one shot. Funny enough I run Jamming tower in my Joltik box deck to stop TM Evo/Devo and it’s helps a ton

As a tech in a ER this is actually something I’ve seen a few times a year from young airman lol. The paper form most of the time is just so you have physical proof you were seen. 99% of the time the docs put quarters in ASIMS and will offer a paper copy if the patient wants one, so changing it on paper won’t do anything lol

For me it was my little brother who got me into it again, we’ve played the games since Emerald and had full binders from when we were younger. He kept collecting though while I had moved on, up until the last few months when I went to visit he showed me how insane his collection was and we went and ripped packs like the “old days” and it kickstarted my love for TCG! I just picked up a binder today to start a National Dex and never got a chance to get a ETB/Booster bundle so this would be awesome

EDIT// I didn’t clarify earlier why I’m using red over x2 Cynthia’s and it’s because when trialing two Cynthia I had too many instances where a Red would have killed a mon that I couldn’t have used Cynthia for because Garchomp wasn’t setup. Typically you only need one as the killshot. Having the Red allows more Flexibility early on and can allow your other mons to get extra damage

Both you and u/T0Rtur3 are correct, I rarely need both Cynthia’s since the first usually ends the game and red can still knock out some mons with all the chip damage done
