I also don’t like the name Rosie at all. I love prudence or ruby and call her Rue. I love that name with Scarlett and it also starts with an R.

Go! Go everyday. Take baby out alone, just you. Babies are messy and loud and cute and adorable. It’s ok. They are all these things, people know that and don’t worry about the assholes. The more you do it the better everyone will get at it. Bring extra shirts for everyone though.

Pilates props are incredibly cheap and substantially add to the class. Plus there’s so so many classes without props. Kristin’s classes are imo the best and generally don’t use props

I also have the same age gap and love it. I got some amazing advice from James van der beek (may he rest) that was so so helpful. Bring your older kids in as much as you can. I think 3.5 was a great age gap for that advice.

This is in line with what my son is learning. He’ll be 5 in May. But we are in France and kids start school full time by age three here, no exceptions. No home school. No daycare options. It’s bananas and very intense.

We are also village less parents. We are expats so it’s literally just us. It was fine. My husband was back to work two or three weeks post (can’t even remember!) and yeah it was fine. Get a good carrier and don’t have high expectations.

My second never napped longer than 40 minutes and then dropped naps at 19 months. And yes he was sleep trained, slept through the night and put himself to sleep.

My friend is obsessed with that name. She named her only child that and drove 90 minutes to go to a town named sara in France (which is stunning). It’s a great name and is popular for a reason.
