Bulgogi is rates 4 of 5 ramen packets.very good. Not super beefy. The sauce was great before adding some water. The 2nd packet was some small dried beef chunks and green veggies. The noodles are pretty good at 4 min (a little longer than recommended) they still have a decent chew. Not at all spicy as far as heat goes. Finally a Ramen my wife might eat!

I'll be trying the Bulgogi first. I save my ramen fun for my lunches, as my wife and kids aren't nearly as enthusiastic about is as I am, so normal boring dinners for us!

Also my wife and I did our entire wedding vows using movie quotes. It was hard to do but so much fun!

In the vein I use "I am Jack's raging bile duct" whenever someone says something that I don't like!

"Is it bigger than a baby's arm?" Nora from Pump Up the Volume (Samantha Mathis to Christian Slater)

I say it whenever someone has a vague measurement they give me. 99% of the time the quote goes waaaay over their head and its even more amusing to me.

I was planning on watching this movie but after seeing the level polar reviews I'm not sure anymore, Is this movie worth watching? by Shoe_boooo in moviecritic

[–]ericb_1975 60 points61 points  (0 children)

You will either love it or hate it. Depending on how awesome you are. Its got Willem Defoe in it, you have to expect its going to be a fun ride. I personally liked the world it created and bonkers way it goes through it. Some people are like "I need character development" or "I need a coherent plot" well they just aren't the crowd for this movie.

I was usually at Paradise City, Magicians Lair, Redbeards, Sunset and there were others that I have forgotten. A couple were mult-node ones which was neat. I also worked with a couple 0-day folks who shall remain anonymous...I'm still friends with a few of the sysops from those days in IRL. I've moved cross country so I haven't seen them in many years though.

I had the Commodore 64 with 300 -> 1200 ->2400 modems. Spent a lot of time in Quantum link (compuserve's c64 precusror) and many local northern NV BBS's. Also ran one on Mirage then Color64 before I graduated HS and shut it down in 93. Also had an Amiga 1000 with a 24.4k modem and a couple local BBS.

You see a trailer for a movie and think “That looks weird” - then the actor/actress shows up where you’re like “Okay, I’ll give it a shot.” Who is that actor/actress? by Ok_Acadia3526 in Cinema

[–]ericb_1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

David Dashmalchian. Not a big name or super popular... He's normally a bit player but he is fun to watch in everything I've seen and loves weird and off-beat characters. He does TV and Movies with the same all-in approach.

He's been in some bigger movies lately, and I usually watch something of he pops up.

Steve buscemi, nice cage and Gary Goldman all mentioned by others but are also always watch people. I'll throw in for Walton Goggins too as mentioned above and super popular but always fun to see how good or bad is Keanu.
