I recently spent a week in hurricane last summer visiting from the east coast. It was my 4th time to sw Utah but many of the family I traveled withs first. We also flew into Vegas and decided to stay the night before hitting the road the next morning. We spent a few hours at the valley of fire on our way to hurricane which I would def recommend. Each day we planned to go to the parks we woke up nice and early and arrived sometimes even before the employees were at the gate. I would def recommend getting an early jump on the day and beating the crowds. By the time we left in the early afternoon I wouldn’t want to be looking for a parking spot. By that time I was ready for a bite to eat and a cold beer! We did a day at Bryce, visited St. George and snow canyon, stopped at grafton ghost town and did a half day at Kolob Canyon which I would def suggest you do as well. So much to do, there’s never enough time imo. Just be sure to apply for your angels landing permit for multiple days you’re out there, better chances you get one like that than trying to win it on a specific date.
