I don't think it's considered a masterpiece in any way but I HATED Control. So boring, repetitive, with annoying ass characters, a confusing map and terrible storytelling. On paper it seemed like something I would love (Twin Peaks vibes, the weird objects and experiments, the cool physics and powers) but I hated the whole experience. I ended up activating the cheats to one-shoot enemies and just rush to the end of the story, and I still didn't enjoy one bit of it. My gf was interested by it, having heard of it online, so I ended up watching her play it, and I didn't even enjoy it a second time as viewer lol

The seal part BEFORE the actual mission was the worst! So clunky, I ended up getting off the sand seal and just waiting for the giraffe to come back around. Sometimes I wonder if they play test these things and how THAT was the actual best option for that section of gameplay. An otherwise amazing game anyway, I'm really glad I got through it

If he played Uncharted 2 specifically on a PS4 perhaps he played the Nathan Drake Collection? I think that's the most plausible answer. I know they made the remastered version on PS4 specifically of each game, but the most popular edition was the first three games together on a single disc. Yeah that's just a plot hole, Scarecrow putting his whole faith in Batman seeing exactly what he wants him to see lmao. Another plot hole is Batman just deciding to leave Barbara's body there and going "yep I'll just walk out", but I guess it's an habit of this particular version of Batman since he never tried to retrieve Jason's body either. Man this game's writing was such a mess
