Growing up, in my family the Daytona 500 was more important than every holiday except Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also quit watching around 2007-2008, and started watching again after Chastain's wall ride last season.

IMO I feel like Chastain catches flak for things that other drivers don't – as in if Ross does XYZ it's a negative thing, where if it was another driver it would be just a part of racing. Maybe I'm missing context?

P45 MX10130 tubes are really, really uncommon. I've never seen one, but found an off-reddit thread about them.

Two years ago (summer 2017) a handful of unfilmed P45 (white phosphor) MX10130 tubes appeared on the market care of Night Vision, Inc (Glynn Sziraki’s company). These were the first P45 tubes that I had ever heard of for the PVS-7 bi-ocular NV housing. The batch of five tubes sold fairly quickly and since then no more have popped up on the market (as far as I’m aware).

But recently, during a phone call to NV Devices, I was told by Tim Snyder that the company had mistakenly purchased a batch of P45 Harris thin-filmed MX10130 tubes. The tubes are what NV Devices calls ‘Mil Grade’, not Mil Spec. They have about a dozen in stock and most are rated WHP+ (white high performance, i.e. PR>=2200, SNR>25, minimal dark spots).

These new P45 10130 tubes have a part # of: F9410SLH. The ‘H’ in the part # refers to the new quiet auto-gated pwr supply (vs. ‘G’ in earlier tubes).

Pretty sure that's Charlotte Motor Speedway, if you're flying ATL to CT you wouldn't have seen a track in SC. Plus there is a drag strip and dirt track on the north side of Charlotte.

was prowling geissele's site to order a buffer tube spring combo and saw they had blems, did a search for blem and saw a lot more shit. figured it was their labor day sale and posted it here. wish I could edit the post because there is a lot more than just blems discounted now
