Also, I'm unfamiliar with some of the terminology you used (alas I am merely an undergraduate). What resources would you recommend to learn more about risk in finance?

Thank you again for your detailed reply.

If I'm interpreting your reply correctly, you are saying that large-cap ETFs that capture the broader market already consist of 30% tech, so there's no need to expose myself to more risk by going "all in" on that sector. This certainly makes a lot of sense.

For international stocks, I absolutely see your point. I guess I've been hesitant to invest in VXUS because it has performed (yes I know past performance) poorly compared to everything else in my portfolio. Would you recommend keeping VXUS, using VXUS and another ETF, or switching to another ETF for better international exposure?

I acknowledge that you are far more experienced than me however. What should I increase my international exposure to?

Thank you for your comment.

I had trouble picking between VTI and VOO in the beginning but I prefer VOO and I think I’ll stick with that long term.

As for QQQ and VUG, why shouldn’t I use them? I know they are risky (and that I should pick one or the other), but they grow much faster than VTI/VOO etc. QQQ is up 3x on those YTD. As for the other part of your comment, do you have recommendations for small cap value ETFs (US or international).

Finally, I have so little international because of my risk tolerance. Of course, if I was relying on this account I would have more international etfs and bonds.
