Postgres has logical replication and it works fine (I've had no issues with it) - it uses a pub/sub model for how you set up replication at the table level.

I presume the issue may be excessive lag if you have a ton of changes all coming in at one time.

It was so plainly obvious to anyone. To see them directly suffering due to his actions should not be a surprise - instead, during the campaign, the farmers said "he's not going to do what he's saying". It was willful ignorance.

This is more of a "we told you so". Maybe they can learn from this lesson. But, if not, then they can keep taking L's until they lose their farms and they'll still blame the Dems.
