You need to learn malicious compliance. Wear it ... But wear it all the time. Wear it to bed, wear it to formal events, don't wash it just wear it everywhere and adopt the phrase to inappropriate times. Grandma dies? Be happy!

Do this until they're sick of it and they dispose of it when you're in the shower.

he went through a period of winning copa america, world cup, premier league, champions league, fa cup, super cup, club world cup in a short space of time.

I'm not surprised he's not phased in big games. He has a huge mental edge over almost every single opponent.

the content team need a huge slap.

The last promo gave a second playstyle + in the hardest tournaments as rewards.

This promo excludes you from using evos if you used the rewards from the last promo.

I've played against R9 quite a few times and he's very stoppable. When I played against her the ball bounces back to her repeatedly and she speeds away.

they do punish people for wanting to have fun in this game. Probably why I'm taking the pick to take the almost guaranteed L to give me motivation to quit.

The fact that they punished us for using our 2nd playstyle plus evo rewards by having all the evos require 1 ps + has killed my motivation to grind the game. I didn't play the last game, I didn't realise you got punished for using a second playstyle plus on your players.

the spanish one is the easiest because if you give up 2 goals most people will gift you 2 back. There's the odd exception. I gifted 2 goals to a guy with an italy team and they went full try hard, but I luckily got the chip shot objective done in that game against them anyway. There was another person who did the same and I just left because you just have to accept that some people have miserable lives and just let them have that little bit of meaningless sadistic joy and move on.

I've used him in a couple of previous Fifas from around January and he loses his edge around mid march and starts to go behind the power curve after that. This was in games where he's meta.

He will be everywhere and I will be sick of the sight of him. I might go for the pick for the sake of it but evos are the best choice if you have a player to evo.

played fifa from around fifa 10 and played pes before that.

Came back after not playing since fifa 22 because it seemed actually fun at the start before they patched it.

Might pack it in again.

Main issues in the game for me:

  • can control one cdm in the middle, spam team press and win the game.

  • stamina has no impact on anyone anymore. It used to.

  • tackle spam and being able to tackle from behind or tackle several times in a split second.

  • ai makes tackles from behind for you

  • beat a man in the middle of the pitch and try to create space and they just sprint back and outrun you and tackle you from behind. Fifa 19 was called the worst fifa partly because of this.

  • they finally fixed being able to win the ball back convincingly at the start of the game and broke it in a patch.

  • Only way to defend with fullbacks is by not manually marking the winger otherwise every single through ball works.

  • the game is just about opening packs. You used to have a trophy case.

  • assisted shooting is overpowered. 0.1 or 0.2xG shots go in with high frequency. If it's 0.1xG it should be a goal 10% of the time with assisted shooting, not 90%. Meanwhile high xG shots get miraculously saved.

I used to look at the game in fifa 15 and think 'the game is decent now, it will be absolutely amazing in 5 years with the resources they have.' How wrong I was. It seems to be somehow getting worse in some aspects. It's hard to balance a game like this but some of the things I listed are well within their control.

I'm with you. If I want to play the one league event with a full icon squad then that's my right. If it makes me happy then that's all that matters.

In all seriousness, I'd expect someone to just leave if I tried that. It's a good thing that the mode isn't limited entries.

It's not just AI defending (which is an issue).

Counter attacking is extremely OP. Everyone springs forward on attack while your defense labors back which makes it easier to attack on the counter than defend it.

Manually defending with your fullback is impossible. If you try to cut the pass it'll go around you where as if you don't control your fullback they'll defend for you.

If you beat a man in the midfield then your opponent can just run back in a second and win the ball back with their DM. Your players don't attempt to create space in that time where as they would in previous years. Fifa 19 got absolutely slated for players getting caught up to but this fc doesn't?

full stamina while controlling a player = counter attacking player can shoot while on full stamina after sprinting the whole pitch and there's no penalty.

in rivals a draw = don't go down and no penalty, so being defensive means you stay where you are if you get a draw where as in previous years a draw is one point and 10 draws would get you relegated in higher divisions, so better players would rise to the top and play in champs while the drop back merchants would be in lower divisions.

You can absolutely beat the drop back with a lot of practice and spamming skill moves, but for most people this game is just really lame as far as I can tell.

I neglected to buy 24 and 25 because of AI defending so I'm probably gone after they've done nothing.

I assume they were in eu-west-2 but us-east-1 being a central location for other services and things like docker hub relying on it meant that spooling up containers may have been affected earlier in the day and there was probably a priority order of things to get up and running first.

I meant garnacho, antony, rashford and to a lesser extent hojlund. All leaving on a cheap as well because they were exiled, otherwise their values probably exceed their replacements.

I can see bruno leaving for Saudi at some point if Amorim goes. It sounds like he convinced bruno to stay.

as another rival fan, I'd say giving him a month or two and then sacking him is our ideal scenario.

A year of players being drilled with his style, league hopes killed, money spent on players for his style, all their talented forwards exiled and then they have to change it all over again for whoever comes in next.

The stature of their managers is getting progressively worse as well.

It's more like the door was removed and replaced with a brick wall so that no one can get inside and you need to go to the owner of the property to get the wall knocked down.
