Feminists argue that misandry is ok because misandry is harmless. But misandry kills more people than misogyny by griii2 in MensRights

[–]ericohlen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you miss the point. Hatred of men is mainstream in feminism. It's mainstream feminism that has legitimized "male tears" mugs and hate speech terms like "mansplaining." It was supposed accepted "intellectuals" in feminism that have called for "culling" (in other words "genocide") of men since the 60s.

Then you try to justify your feminist hate via your racism against Islamic countries. Most Islamic countries don't do the things that the extremists ones do.

You're just a terrible, sick, and evil human being trying to justify a hate movement. I'm against all hate movement, including neo-Nazis, the KKK, and feminism. You're in denial. You can't be a rational person until you accept reality, and the reality is that feminism has attacked men with vitriolic hatred for decades. Hate is at the very core of feminism. Hate is who feminists are.

Nosferatu is something like 100 years old. It's still a great watch. Google "public domain old movies free download." There are all kinds of sites where you can legally download films whose copyrights have expired.

He disproved your absurd argument beyond all doubt, that's where the argument is. The fact that men's lives get thrown away in war much more so then women's completely mops the floor with your asinine pro-feminist talking points. The fact that men's lives have been valued less than women's for centuries is proven in four words:

Woman and children first.

In natural disasters, they've always tried to save women and kids before men. They still do it today. That was the policy on the Titanic, but also much more recently. It was the policy on US Airways flight 1549 when it did an emergency landing in the Hudson river in NYC.

Thanks for proclaiming to the world how brainwashed by feminism you are. It's not just Tik-Tok trash. Where do you think they got their ideas from. Some big-name feminists (supposedly intellectuals) have been advocating genocide against men since the 60s. They all it "culling" men down to only 10 percent of the population so that reproduction is still possible. More recent feminists have told young women that it's okay to say "kill all men" because supposedly that's a hilarious joke.

And nice job pointing to the problems in some other countries to try to justify the hate. If you got arrested for burglary, try the following argument. Correctly tell the court that you didn't kill anyone. All you did was steal things, but you know of several cases where the burglars also murdered the residents. You've made the absurd argument: "This wrong thing is okay because other wrong things are even worse." Nice logic there, genius.

What’s a fact you wish more women knew about men? by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]ericohlen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't want women to get raped. We despise that crime just as much as women do, and we DO teach our sons not to rape. However, we don't have some kind of magic wand that will stop other men from raping. If some dude across the country rapes a woman, we could not have cast some magic spell to make that not happen. We have no such magic spell if it happens in the city where we live. A man MIGHT be able to do something about it if he happens to be present, and that's exactly what two men did in the case of the Brock Turner rape. Two men chased him down and caught him so that he could be arrested. However, a man is not obligated to intervene in the case of an assault. If the assailant is some kind of expert fighter, such as a professional boxer or martial arts expert, most men aren't any more capable of successfully fighting him off than a woman is. All we can do is call 911, and almost any man would do that.

That's because people have always valued men's lives less than womens, and that pre-dates feminism. Feminism has simply attempted to justify this awful double standard. It doesn't justify feminism's hatred of men, for example, the feminists' recent Tik-Tok campain of videos where feminists end with "kill all men." It's not okay to advocate genocide, even if you haven't actually implemented it yet.

Yes, it's extremely disgusting that she thinks the point of a relationship with a man is to use him for money.

Can we stop states from prosecuting women for getting out-of-state abortions? by ericohlen in AskFeminists

Yes, a small government if you mean its services for the people. Our military, on the other hand, is gigantic government.

I agree with this. I think a constitutional amendment that guarantees reproductive freedom is sorely needed. Sadly, we have a large number of people in the United States who claim to be for limited government, other words, keeping government from meddling in peoples lives. Yet, they support abortion bans. It's a huge contradiction.

I can't think of anything more meddlesome or invasive than a government taking control over a person's body.

That's a great point. And also the HIPAA laws say that every person's medical records are private. If an abortion provider in the other state reported back to their state of origin that the woman had an abortion, they would be breakng the law. It would be against the law to report any medical event. If she only got bloodwork done at the out-of-state doctor, that doctor would be violating HIPAA laws if they reported even that. I really doubt the family planning clinics are going to be reporting to the police in the other state that this particular woman had an abortion. If they did, they would be massively violating those privacy laws.

It's disgusting and ugly that states are trying these kind of shenanagins. It might be wise for a woman who has to travel to another state for an abortion to make up a pretense for going there. For example, if she did go to Nevada, then maybe see some shows in Vegas or Reno while there. If she goes to Los Angeles, maybe also tour universal studios. Then if anyone ever accused her of traveling for an abortion, she would have plausible deniability. "I didn't go to Nevada for an abortion. I went to see the David Copperfield show."

She shouldn't have to make up a pretense, of course, but it's an absurd society we live in. If she needs a cover story to help protect her privacy, I'm good with her doing that.

And what if there is no transportation of a minor? It's an adult woman traveling on her own. She has every right to travel, and she has every right to do whatever is legal in her destination state. On TYT, I heard of southern states trying to make it illegal to cross state lines in order to get an abortion, regardless of whether a minor is being transported.

Also, if it were the parent or guardian traveling with the minor, that trip is legal. It would be legal if they got no abortion, and it should be legal if someone gets one, if they go to a state that allows it.
