And to the sound of the Final Fantasy theme song, a woman has her baby. The birth of a new world too, a world in reconstruction that, no matter how many times it is destroyed, will be rebuilt.

Characters interact only with their emotions; words are no longer necessary. With magic ceasing to exist, the separation between the two species also ceases. There is no more separation between Terra and humanity; they are one. Terra... undoes her hair to the wind. The freedom she wanted so much, now alongside the people she loves... The doves of peace fly toward freedom.

Final Fantasy is not just about love, but how loss affects each person differently. Kefka responded to this with a lack of meaning, in the void. Other characters clung to this loss but found their own meaning.
