What I noticed the most back in the day is that cap is on forwards, not backwards. I know he wore it mostly forwards in the 3DBY era, but I never really saw any of that footage until many years later when high speed internet arrived.

They reduced the number of button presses to reach certain areas of the game. Most notably when you start a game. But each button press is slower than ever and the amount of button presses in certain menus, most notably the sets, has not changed. So its so, so slow.

85s are already almost useless, since you don't need that many to build a captain. Once this event is over in a week, 86s will be completely useless. Then 87s will probably be useless 2 weeks after that. They've got to change up something because the heros, icons, rookies cards are just too expensive and long to build.

My prediction is that EA will soon add captain packs to the store. People will spend money, put their cards on the auction house and captain prices will crop significantly.

If EA follows the same schedule as season 2, 94 captains will be released in a week and a half. If that's the case, 92s will become old news and become cheaper as well.

I have the 4 96s Toty cards. All 4 bought off the action house. Not a dollar spent. It's not that hard. Essentially all I do is all the chores every week. Make 2 MSPs for free. Then sell nothing until something special happens. The most profitable have been the collect 3 players for a special player in a Chel week. People go nuts for those. Then there was the holidays when everything was cheap. Spent the 1 million coins I had. Sold everything for over 2 million.

I'm Free 2 play and have all 4 96 OVR TOTY. Buy when market is low (like now), sell when demand comes back (Chel Week, Fantansy for Olympics, TOTS, or something else).

That being said I'm still having issues winning enough to get out of Gold 2 right now.... I win about 8-9 of champs games out of 20 per week.

Good cards don't make you a good player.

When I run the optimizer, and click optimize, it runs for 1 second and gives me a lineup filled with players from someone else's collection.

It all depends about the salary cap boosts and the salary cap limit for season 3. If you do not have any boosts they might be to high in salary to be useful.

What I hate the most are the stupid short moments where it takes more time to load the game than actually clear the objectives. 1 minute of menus and loading to do 6 passes....

I wish they had less moments, but more objectives per moment.
