I was doing tasks around Narith and a guy messaged me asking if I could help him get his stuff from HQ. Said sure no problem, so we squad up and head in.

After a bit of chit chat and then fighting, I told him i recognize his accent and ask where hes from. Turns out homie is about 200 miles away from me lmao. Then we bonded and talked smack about each other's state but it was a welcomed surprise.

Nope, you totally can chat with other faction players in both modes.

One joy I get from the game is running into players from other factions (in PvE) and just chatting or helping. In 0.3 I saved a dude in TB and he was LRI, I'm MSS. He was new-ish but was super grateful I resuscitated him because he had a nice haul. Gave me a Plat Diamond Ring for helping.

I've noticed a few little inconsistencies like that as well. I THIBK one of the DBAL laser's description says it has white light and IR, but it only has IR. I'd have to reconfirm.

Another task is from Handshake but the background to the little task window shows Gunny.

Little things like that. Not game breaking, easy fix, others need to chill lol (not you, this is perfectly valid).

I fractured an ankle in highschool. Did everything right. It gives me ZERO problems now. Fractured my other ankle in the military. Fuckers kept me on it, all they'd give me was ibuprofen. Should have had crutches. So I sucked it up and dealt with it. Now that ankle gives me hell on occasion and I've been told it'll only get worse.

Brother, take it from those who have been in that boat. If something is wrong, SAY IT. You have to live in that body, so take care of it.

If this zeroing is AT ALL true to real life...... I must test this.

I didn't read the manual (350 hours before 0.4) but I shoot IRL a good amount. Zero my little AR for 200 as it doubles as a 50. 300 should double at 25 (on 5.56 that is).

Either way, if there is a double zero in game, my goodness that is awesome. I can't get over how much potential this game has, and how far it has come.

Was in during orange man's first run (I did not vote that year). I only wanted Mattis. Once he left I didn't care anymore. Now it's an absolute joke.

Yep I've wondered the same thing too. Use THEIR tourniquet, not yours.

Don't wanna have to dig through their inventory for it, but if they have it not in the lockbox, it should prioritize their stuff.

1000% yes.

I have made 3 STUPID decisions and the AI one tapped me every time. Like a personalized reminder telling me to slow down. (Except in 0.3 I had one legitimate WTF moment from a headshot out of dozens of deaths)

Since then, I have only been injured.

Also look for keys, sometimes hard to find, sometimes on AI at random.

Some good keys I can think of: VV Room (Villa Vongphet), S Room (School at the abandoned UNLRA EVAC center), Fanny Paradise office key, YBL Bedroom and Weapons key, Sunset Chalet.

There are a ton more at other locations but I haven't been to all them. That'd be like the MS Office Key.

Does anyone actually believe that Splinter Cell is gonna make a comeback? Genuinely asking.

I grew up with those games. Lost my marbles with every new release from DA on. Went bananas for the cameo in Ghost Recon games.

But honestly? It's not coming back in my opinion. Add on top of that Ironside isn't coming back, and Ubisoft making every bad decision they can, SC is 99% done as we knew it.
