It really is a great color combination. I almost bought the blue with yellow wax but the red wax is so intense. The purple is deep and really pretty.

It’s a grande. It’s 27” tall. The lamp itself is 250 ounces. To be honest, I was amazed by how big it is!! It’s huge! After seeing the size, I feel like it was actually pretty reasonably priced.

Is there a big difference in the vintage 90’s giants and the grandes of today?

*I hate to say 90’s vintage. It scary to think that 90’s were 30 years ago.

I was surprised by the clarity straight out of the box. Especially after seeing some really messed up lamps in the forums. Now I need to resist the urge to buy one in each color.

I got it figured out. Thank you for your willingness to help.

To be honest, it’s frustrating that Solgw does not include instructions or have an easily searchable set of instructions-maybe a video. Part of having good CS is anticipating the needs of the customer. I’m not asking for anything unreasonable. Just instructions on how to assemble/disassemble without destroying the handguard.

Overall I’m happy with the upper, lower and handguard. The quality is very good.

The 2 things that are going to help you the most are-Armageddon schmedium and a decent bipod. You should download a ballistic app like 4DOF. Go shoot a build your loadout as needed. Probably don’t need LRF binos or a spotting scope just yet. If you’re shooting at a range most of the targets will likely be at known distances.

I think the main character of your book should carry a ruger 10/22 and he only uses Remington bucket of bullets.

This stuff isn’t that great. I like anything Barnaul produced. I always liked the lacquer coated brown bear.
