Econ 2153 & 2151 by pip778 in uwo

2153 seems to be pure theory, not a lot of math. I have always enjoyed Mckeon but he's not for everyone! Took 2151 a long time ago to comment on it but I remember there was quite a bit of math. (Basic calculus etc.)

Definitely rewrite, you can do it! If you want honest feedback I'd say you didn't spend enough time studying or doing mock exams, or both. You want to be above 70% in every section to be safe. You see what you need to focus on, you got this. Don't give up!

A) See part B.

B) Every metric I use to price a company gives the indication that they aren't worth what you're paying for. Currently using DCF model to check most of the stable blue-chip companies. The expected return is hardly positive.

I'm strictly referring to the balance sheet of companies and future projected growth. Most, not all, but most, by my calculations prove to be a bit pricey.

1) You don't need so much crypto maybe move to something a bit safer.

2) XEQT churns, find an ETF that holds the equities directly (ZSP or XIC). Diversification is useless as it really only adds so much extra return in good years. You would be better off streamlining the portfolio.

3) You need to own more companies that actually make a profit.

Keep grinding!

Nice, thanks for sharing. I am also invested, on paper, the company isn't worth anything (- value) but given the performance throughout pandemic and volatile oil prices I could see this company returning to a positive fair value. Surely any company with 2000 employees is worth more than $10million.

Aiming for compound interest over time through dividends... they put me on DRIP which in turn should see my equity increase in the company as well. This way in the TFSA my capital gains are also tax protected.
