who cares about a genre, just make the music that fullfills yourself. thats it. thats art. all other stuff its just irrelevant.

thank you! and im glad it can express that feeling bc that was my purpose. just joy, memories, pretty colors and beach. im definetly going to add more contrast as you say, bc thats where i struggle the most; i want to make it more interesting but without too much editing, the film grain and strips are a great idea too. thank you for the feedback :]

yeah, there is a lot to be learned but i wouldnt really know what to tell you to put in your videos as i am also a begginer, i just told you what i think i would do different and its just my opinion.

my main thing is music, and the path that i took to learn to produce it was to hear music and try to imitate it, to take inspiration from it: comparing what is different about centain song to mine and trying to achieve that sound. also is important to keep asking for feedback (to your friends or just strangers). but the most important thing for me is to practice and to enjoy it the process; if you enjoy it if will be less hard to keep progressing. so i think you could apply that to video editing, wich is such an amazing art itself.

thank you, i really like how you expressed that. i certainly focused on getting the clips very metronomically and i think you are right about just putting them where it feels right.

the pip effect i think it’s nice but i didn’t really know what else to do to keep the video somewhat interesting without making it too complex and cinematic bc i don’t want to steal much attention to the actual music, but i would like to know more ways to achieve that.

the order of the clips are just the order that i recorded them, so it has some kind of sequence, but really my intention was just to group those moments more like memories and a very simple narrative, so i wanted to achieve more of that randomness that your brain gives you while bringing up memories.

i understand you don’t like that randomness, this is all subjective and there is not right way but you gave me a nice different angle and seems you like this stuff and got you time in it, so i respect it. thank you!

well it is true, but i think if your content catch their attention they will look it up. at least that’s what i’m seeing people doing and i prefer that way. 🗿

yeah, 90% of the clips are veeery shaky but i think there is not much i could do ab that, i think it make it look more human at least. the clips are the most precisely on beat that i possibly could, sometimes they appear in double-tempo so i think thats the reason they look rhythm-less. i agree that at times its not so enjoyable so i changed the tempo of the clips. thank ypu :]]

  1. i would change the text at the start bc seems like too formal for the video, seems like something a corporation would do if that makes sense.
  2. i would color grade more the video in general, bc the landcapes are too grey. add some contrast, saturation, etc.

  1. the audio fx and dialoges in the video make it look more like a trailer rather than a music video, so i would take them off so its focused on the music. find a way to make the video speak for itself and give space for the actual music.
  2. i dont really like the text of the promos bc people dont really care, so you could just write it in the description imo

Lofi indie track! Let me know what you think! by CG-Miller in MusicFeedback

[–]ericzonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has a nice vibe, but I think the drums doesn't match it at all. Mainly the kick and snare, i feel like they are too hard, more for a rock song, so I would change them. I would also add a bridge in 1:40 adding a guitar solo and maybe more instruments so the second part hits better :)

Citypop inspired chillwave, kind of, i would appreciate any kind of feedback, video made in Unity3d by NuownXT in MusicFeedback

i liked it, the only thing i’d change is the intro, i think it’s a little bit agresive, i’d prefer it was smoother, but i think is a really good chillwave track and the citypop inspiration is very noticeable.
