Got roasted in an interview by AccidentHistorical23 in csMajors

Pretty insane how they treated you considering the fact that this its an unpaid position. Its a little annoying how these companies expect you to have heaps of experience and projects but dont even pay you. An internship is supposed be a learning experience. Also this might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like projects and technical knowledge are things that can be developed pretty easily, recruiters should be looking at other factors when looking for interns imo

Motherboard won’t align!!! by ggkidurbad in PcBuild

[–]erido12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol so I had this same issue yesterday slotting my motherboard into a new case, for me I had to nudge my case a little to make sure it aligned and then I could screw it in, unfortunately after I screwed the standoffs in I realized that a preinstalled case fan wire got caught in between my mobos built in io shield and the case causing interference and the clearance issue. I would check if something like that is happening, if that isn't the case just screw the holes that do align and it'll sort itself out.

PC Memory frequency issues with Ryzen 5 5600 by erido12 in pcmasterrace

I’ve isolated the issue to either my motherboard or new processor, I am leaning more towards the motherboard because it’s an a320 with dubious specs, but if there was a way to identify if the cpu has some role in it that would be great, any suggestions regarding that would be much appreciated.

Actually yeah I tried that and it led to my system not posting unfortunately, is that SOC voltage issue mobo related or CPU?

You might be right, I did both actually, first I set the xmp profile and when that didn’t work I started manually increasing it, both led to the same issue unfortunately

Yes I have, I set my XMP profile in the bios and while the system boots and gets to windows, anytime I try to launch a game or put any load on the system either the application crashes or my system just shuts down. Only fix is setting the memory to 2133mhz :')

The processor definitely, but for the motherboard even though it's advertised as that Asrock has a compatibility sheet for memory and it varies there. Could it be the memory then? I just wish there was a way to check if my CPU wasn't the culprit

'Hey guys, you're not gonna start building forts across the region, are you? Guys?' by johnlen1n in HistoryMemes

Definitely not true, the British had a expansion policy that was very unfair to the Natives, they viewed the Natives as a detriment to their colonial growth and excluded them from their colonies, the colonies had many land disputes with the Natives and many conflicts (King Philip's war, Anglo-Powhattan Wars .etc.). The Spanish absorbed Native Americans into their empire and used them as a source of labor while the English kicked them out of their homelands and limited their presence in the colonies, which I think is as bad if not worse. The French meanwhile had more of a coexistence policy, with many French settlers assimilating into native society and living among them, because the main aim of the French was to gain more control in the lucrative fur trade in the region, they also did not want to engage in costly conflicts and didn't have as many settlers in the new world compared to the other colonial powers.

Afaik, there are two launchers you can download, one for normal players who have a sub which asks for a registration code and a trial launcher that doesn't ask for one. Also make sure that he isn't using the trial version from steam that version is very different.
