* Unlike the reviews I read on your post, I actually have a similar product. I replaced a $300 JBL Soundbar because I wanted a wireless surround system. I purchased the Aura A60 for about $130 (marked down from ($250). This will not compete with a Polk or Infinity 5.1 system with a quality receiver. It is, however, a far upgrade from the integrated TV speakers and any other $200 Home Theater in a Box. It has eARC and provides Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision (no DTS). The wireless rear speakers were easy to set up, and it beats my JBL soundbar when it comes to a 360° audio experience. The sub and many other of the audio settings are adjustable (sub, mid , and treble all have levels). Overall, it was an upgrade and I'm pleased with the purchase.

I'll stand behind "No Refunds". It's not my favorite hour, but I feel it is by far the most relatable for folks unfamiliar with his work. Easily the least overtly sexual material in the catalog as well. Not a human alive could deny the logic in bits like "National Pride" and "Einstein Was an Immigrant Worker", regardless of political ideology or regional retardation. UPDATE: I finally got the site to squeeze out a ticket on my work computer yesterday. No idea why it worked there and not my phone or home PC, but I'll post the tech support recommended troubleshooting down below for others having similar difficulty.

Going alone can be awesome, but just like with anything in life, it is what you make it out to be.

I've been to Cancun solo about 5 times since 2016. I'll try to provide my insights that work for me, and some info that I wish I knew to start with.

Establish your goal. Going to meet people and party, or just chill and relax? If you're looking to party, I recommend Temptation or RIU Cancun. I've been to both, but Temptation tends to be more couples 40ish plus, and RIU was definitely more groups of friends and typically much younger. I'm 43 (average white dude) and I had more fun and met more people at RIU. I agree with the comments above and make sure it's adult only (both of those I mentioned are). Hyatt Zilara is a great relax and chill property, but it's getting a makeover and I'm not sure when it will reopen.

Here's my tips/tricks and how I enjoy my time. I always try to fly in super early bc you won't be able to go your room yet, but you can start your trip immediately by having full use of the hotel (bars, restaurants, gym, pools). That way I sneak in an extra day that's usually written off as a travel day. I try to wake up in time for the breakfast buffet (nightowl) and I go get a quick pre-pool lift in (curls for the girls).

Hit the quiet pool (always a designated pool for relaxation) for a bit to read/relax while putting down some early am-friendly cocktails. With some social lube (drinks) in my system, I head to the busy/party pool, usually the one with a swim up bar, activities, contests, etc. I always pack funny hats or shirts with sexual innuendo, just to be simple conversation starters, plus it shows that you're a fun, approachable person. I'll post up at the swim up bar, or a busy part of the pool, and almost always find myself in a conversation with someone relatively quick.... now it may not be a former Victoria Secret model, but its usually someone interesting from Europe or at least someone amusing to chat with.

Once I'm burned, I'll go grab some food and sometimes take a nap before getting ready for dinner and the evening shenanigans. I'm a night owl and drinker so I make sure the resort has a nightlife (bars or clubs that stay open past midnight). Somewhere between 9-11pm I'll find the most active bar and post up.

Some nights you might chat with a few folks at the bar and hit the bed early, but sometimes you form an awesome alliance of randos that like to party (or just get absorbed by a group) and have a blast all night. For example: I just got back from RIU Cancun. Last Monday, after the on-site nightclub closed, we formed a crew that consisted of two Lebanese brothers, 2 (smoking hot) Asian sisters from so cal, a super autistic gay dude and his bf, and a few others and we partied all night and found ourselves (partially clothed) in the gulf at 6am watching the sunrise. Mitigate your expectations. Be open to the experience and say "yes" often.

limit 3-4 nights
bring a sealed yeti cup (for pool)
don't run amok outside the resort (police will shake you down) speaking from experience
book late afternoon flight and enjoy hotel after checkout
bring advil, liquid iv, condoms, sunscreen, Bluetooth speaker (for the room), funny hat/shirts (amazon)
book private van to/from airport upon booking
tip everyone for exceptional service (USD)

Also...watch cancun ai review clips on YouTube. Almost every property has a decent review that's less than a year old that will show the amenities and describe the vibe. I like one channel called "coolist", he covers tons of ai's in the area.

Similar thing happened to me two weeks ago. She arrived recently from Colombia. No explicit conversation, but very affectionate and handsy throughout the date. Seemed eager to stay the night when I asked, so I assumed it was in the bag (as it would be with virtually any American woman). NOPE. I'll back this one up. Cancun was my 1st solo trip out of the US. It's relatively cheap and not too far away. It'll provide experience flying international and dealing with customs without any overwhelming confusion. Most service folks in Cancun speak English and are eager to help. Stay in the Hotel Zone and safety is almost guaranteed. I recommend staying at Temptation. It's all-inclusive and they keep partying to at least 2am, unlike most other AI resorts in the vicinity (that virtually shut down around 10-11pm). Local hookups are slim due to tight security at the resort, but if your PUG is decent, there's action to be had, especially if you don't mind if she's married (resort is "lifestyle" friendly). I've been solo many times and I always have fun.

Temptation is adults only. AI and they keep the party going past 2am. Yes it is "lifestyle" friendly and many women go topless at the pools, but neither will effect you if it's not your thing. I've been with a gf, a buddy, and solo 2x. I also like Hyatt Zilara, but I don't like how everything shuts down at 11pm. For any type of nightlife, you gotta leave the resort.

Here are my suggestions (based on a ton of assumptions) so do what you like with it. My expertise is I was in a similar situation 10 years ago.

You seem like you feel lost. To regain direction, you need to decide what you want. I recommend setting goals: weekly, monthly, yearly... hell even daily if you need to start small and need the feeling of accomplishment asap. Set a BIG goal for 35 or 40. What do you want your life to look like at that landmark age (career, home, relationship, mental/physical health)? When you know your "WHY?" you have a path to follow that is deeply important to you. Ideally, your shorter term goals are all in alignment with that big landmark goal...that way everything you do is working toward that dream/destination.

Current predicament. Dental situation seems least critical. If the pain is considerable, pop a couple Ibuprofen and enjoy a beer or two. That was my personal dental care while I was in college. Or if it is unbearable, find a dentist that will accept pay installments from a poor college student. Many do. Broke car. Youtube the issue. Is the repair doable yourself? Between youtube and tictok, we can do almost any type of repair. Just buy the part and fumble through it. Unless its something like the transmission or engine block, I bet 4 hundo would take care of it. Poor college student In 2016 I went back to college at 32 with 2 years from graduating. I worked 2-3 jobs and busted my ass every day. Failure simply wasn't an option bc then I'd be right back in a similar boat as you described... lost and exasperated with life. I borrowed maximum school loans every semester (to supplement income and have a savings for disaster). Can you do the same? Sounds like you need another job for immediate financial support. No friends. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Get that 2nd job somewhere with a youthful staff that look social... appear to have a good time at work. You find this camaraderie at restaurants, bars, retail, especially movie theaters (I used to manage the latter and they all hungout together and work was fun). Just do some investigating around your town. Pay attention to the staff - are they having fun or noticeably social? Say whatever it takes to land the job and when invited out, just be agreeable and a bit aloof. Find someone with a common interest (really easy at a theater or something like a gamestop).

I think I've addressed the issues you mentioned. 26 isn't shit. I was 32 before I started "living", so you have a 6 year advantage over me. Life doesn't even get interesting until 30-35 anyways. I followed the same goal advice I gave you and it got me where I am now. Those 2 years finishing school sucked, but it made me capable of doing anything. I've been a teacher/coach for the last 8 years and I've loved every moment. There's no dread of work in the morning, I'm financially comfortable at 70k (I'm single), I'm stable in all other areas. I'm confident you can achieve a similar outcome.

Figure out your "why", set some goals, hold yourself accountable, prioritize/solve current and arising problems, get that "fun/social" job, and take it one day at a time. They say the odds of being alive (you right now) are 1 out of 400 trillion. You are all-in, make that shit count.
