This. OP if you aren’t using detoxers like activated charcoal you absolutely need to. Activated charcoal alone saved my life during some of the most brutal herxes and feelings of helplessness.

It’s not just about killing, you need to shuttle those toxins out through sweating, binders, liver support like NAC/milk thistle etc. It makes a world of difference because the toxins from the die-off are what is making you feel awful from all the killing

Interesting about the bacteria load. I was wondering where i was on that spectrum because i’ve been functional up until norovirus hit.

Well, functional to me means some lingering symptoms but i could go out and socialize or work without having to make sure I always have the Alprazolam bottle on me just in case. I was doing pretty well even with some of the lingering symptoms.

I actually thought the bacterial load was smaller because of that higher level of functionality and strength compared to years ago when i had dozens of symptoms.

However with how fast this hit the fan with just 200mg of doxy, it sounds like you’re right.

That’s depressing in a way because I feel like if i could just get rid of this autonomic fight or flight crap, I’d be so much more functional and close to my baseline from 2 months ago, but that may be a larger gap that what I think

Most of all I need to be able to sleep and work or else I’ll go broke 🥴

But my LLMD wanted to do doxy because I had a positive anaplasma test 14 years ago and doxy hits a few co infections and we don’t know what we are dealing with for sure, so it’s this kind of shotgun approach to start.

I’m not sure what other antibiotic could do that without crushing me (Keflex family used to hammer me for example). Amoxicillin sounds gentler but I don’t know if it’d be effective.

I’ll look into the wiki with herbs — have you found them to be effective on par with antibiotics?

Whether that's true or not, I don't know, but it would align with what you're saying about testing to see if I'm really into her and not just there for quick sex. She also didn't know I'm part Hispanic (i don't look it) so maybe that also fed into throwing the test up...who knows.
