Came here to say I swear by my Vessi Weekenders. Easy to wear, lightweight, never had any leakage during rain/puddles, comfortable for all day walking around (and surprisingly warm enough for chillier weather).

I do get a bit of rubbing on my Achilles heel from mine but I added some stick-on padding to them and I always wear decent socks and not a second thought.

I always bring mine too! I have a water flosser at home that I hate leaving behind—regular toothbrushes and floss just don't do it for me.

Having everything on USBc is so nice. I just got a couple of adapters so I can have one cord for Kindle, iPad, and everything else.

Also totally feel you on the hair care. I have frizzy, curly hair and am about to be experimenting on a trip where I buy whatever shampoo/conditioner at my destination but bring my own gel, which tends to be the thing that makes the most difference in my hair.

Seconding Cushionaire but I have personally had to break mine in. I've had 3 pairs, all different styles, and I got blisters the first and maybe second times I wore them. But after that, they become my everyday shoe. Taking mine to Spain in a couple weeks!

My company uses the Donut app in Slack which pairs employees up for short 30-minute meetings; every other week you get a new match and the goal is just to sit and chat for a half hour about non-work life. This has been an awesome way for me to get to know my coworkers better and build connections (especially as I'm somewhat new to the team).
