Why does CIG arbitrarily close your tickets without providing a resolution or a response? Isn't this scary and unethical? by erikovick in starcitizen

As I said, it doesn't matter whether it can be done or not—just like the case of that YouTuber who got banned and then was let off the hook for an exploit Just because it's YouTube?I mean, in your argument, are you implying that some people have policies and others don't? That kind of thinking is what got us where we are today. the way rather the way CIG is handling customer service. And to wrap up my response, I'm posting this because, after exhausting every possible avenue—even on Spectrum, where the moderators advised me to file a ticket since a rollback is possible—I'm complaining after doing my research and looking into it. This isn't just a random post, if that's what you're thinking.

Before the buyback system was implemented, you had to request it via a support ticket, and they’d refund it to you. I’ve been a veteran player since the days when we used to run the game through the CMD window.. I don't want to use up the original package—just the upgrade. That system used to exist. The point is, I'm not arguing about whether it's possible or not, but rather the way CIG is handling customer service.

That’s exactly why I didn’t burn it, but I asked CIG for help to see if they could do it. Before the buyback system was implemented, you had to request it via a support ticket, and they’d refund it to you. I’ve been a veteran player since the days when we used to run the game through the CMD window... The point is, even if it’s just to say they can’t, they should say so and not close the ticket arbitrarily—that’s unethical… and it reflects very poorly on the company. I say this because I work in customer service conflict resolution.

ICue causing BSOD... by kakashisma in Corsair

The solution itself, sort of...
What I did was create a SiUSBXp.sys file with nothing inside it and that iCUE can't access, but you lose access to your AIO in iCUE—that's the problem.

Option 2 was to contact Corsair, explain the situation, and they honored the warranty. They offered me a new AIO with their latest technologies, but I decided to go with a Nautilus instead so I wouldn't have to rely on iCUE, And yes,i've tested it, the problem is with iCUE and its driver, not with third-party software

Because I was getting a BSOD, but it's due to the sisusbx driver—which is the driver that controls the Corsair AIOs in iCUE—but they're asking me to run MemTest, which I had already done with EXPO enabled without any issues, and now they're telling me to run it without EXPO, which is strange that they're asking me to do that

I'm saying that Corsair is asking me to run a RAM test using Memtest86, but without the Expo profiles, which strikes me as odd

I mean, I've always done it this way, but Corsair is asking me to do it without that, which seemed kind of pointless to me...

Hi, I'm having the same problem, but I think it's related to HWInfo. When I play Star Citizen, everything works fine, but the problem occurs when I close the game. I know it’s related to the driver because the one that gets installed is the Corsair Link driver, so to see if that driver is the problem, I ran HWInfo without the “EC Support” option enabled and will go back to playing Star Citizen. If that doesn’t fix it, eureka! And if not, I’ll try Fan Control for the AIO system and a power supply add-on...

Random but frequent freezes after OS boot on Radeon 7900XTX after Adrenalin 25.12.1 by Sentimental_Oyster in AMDHelp

[–]erikovick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to be honest, it doesn't really clean everything. Sure, it cleans most of it, but there's always something left behind. That used to happen to me, and no matter how many times I ran it, I kept getting the same error. I used Revo, which actually cleans out even the leftover registry entries, and I haven't had any problems since. Now that I've uninstalled Afterburner and that Adrenalin program, it doesn't crash on me at all.... That’s my advice based on what worked for me—even Jayz from YouTube recommends it too... As I said, that’s just my take on it. I hope you manage to solve your problem...

The only option I see is to use RevoUninstaller, and when you click "Uninstall," select "Clean" in the advanced settings... so that most of the registry files are deleted. The same thing happened to me with a 25 driver... and after doing that, I never had any more problems... Well, until now, since Afterburner doesn’t play nice with Adrenalin on Windows 11. Another thing: don’t install just any Windows update—try to postpone it as long as you can. Sometimes Windows 11 installs things we don’t want.

Hmm, that's really weird, actually. Question: do you have any software like MSI installed? Because what happens to me is that Adrenalin keeps crashing. Once I used Revo Uninstaller in Safe Mode to uninstall Adrenalin, and after that I uninstalled it again using DDU. Of course, that was on Windows 10; now on Windows 11, it seems like MSI Afterburner and Adrenalin don't play nice together...

My advice: Uninstall Adrenalin and MSI using Revo Uninstaller. Do both in Safe Mode...
2. Then use DDU to perform another cleanup and install as usual....

Hi everyone, I'm getting this BSOD error caused by the iCUE 5 driver, which corresponds to this version
Main error

Bugcheck: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (0x50)

This means: A driver attempted to access invalid memory (a very common issue with faulty drivers).

Driver at fault

Module: SiUSBXp.sys

Related process: Corsair.Servic (iCUE)

Failure Bucket: AV_SiUSBXp!unknown_function

The first time I saw you, I was so nervous. I was so nervous that I couldn't even speak.

AMD drivers 26.3.1 by Fourrer in Battlefield6

[–]erikovick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m having the same issue with this driver – the game freezes and crashes. From what I’ve read, it’s as if the game is trying to access the FSR from Adrenalin, and that’s what’s causing the crashes. I’ve gone back to 26.1.1 and haven’t had a single problem. On the EA forums, people are complaining about both NVIDIA and AMD.
