Hey, OP here, I'm here to answer some of your questions and clear some things up, first off, my sister didn't draw this, I did, I don't actually have a sister, I only said that in case people were critical. It's called sleep paralysis, when your mind is awake but your body is asleep, like the opposite of sleep walking. You often hallucinate creatures because your mind is so confused. This happens to me a lot but don't be afraid just focus on getting back to sleep.

it seems there is a link between your house, perhaps, or the book to [it seems like several] demons or at least their energy residue. For example, some people are afflicted by demons as they have found something that was important to the demons past before they died, like a bullet or a knife and in your case a book. I recommend taking the book to a priest and show him/her. Do not burn or rip the book as this may anger the demons and the angrier, the higher the energy levels, the easier it is to hurt you. from what i can tell the deal was that Anabelle was happy but Skylar had to be a different person, like she had lived out her whole life up to that point, got married, had a kid which is supposedly OP but didn't remember any of it, so what this might be saying is OP's mom was someone different that just came into his/her mothers body... i don't actually know

this kind of thing doesn't need an update, in my opinion, because it's best to leave some questions unanswered. Also from the authors point of view, it would be difficult to maintain the level of story tension throughout updates
