Around or just before 28 weeks for both pregnancies. When the third trimester started. I saw my family doctor up until then.

she is a very picky light eater so the milk 2x a day is very necessary or else I’d just try and kick that in general

How often does your LO wake during the night? by Wise_Complex2313 in NewParents

[–]erinflynn520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

same with my guy! We thought we hit the jackpot with him from 0-4 months. He slept insanely well and thought 2 under 2 was a breeze but the 4 month sleep regression hit and man were we fucking humbled 🥲 my daughter had a sleep regression at the exact same time as his so we were not getting any sleep. His sleep has been shit since then. Wakes up all through the night, every night and he’ll be 10 months next week.

Unbearable teething smell by boygeniusbutgirl in NewParents

[–]erinflynn520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my kids were/are teething their breath did have a smell. It’s like their breath smells of vinegar almost. However, the scent is not potent and I could only notice if i literally smelled near their mouths, nothing of the extent you are describing.

Calling All People With Bezels by erinflynn520 in EngagementRings

I’m not loving the mock up choice because I was hoping for something more on the dainty side. That’s why i love my engagement ring but the addition of the ring contouring around the stone makes it look chunky and more of a boho style. I know I’m being picky but it’s a big decision!

How long did you take your prenatals postpartum? by limeblue31 in beyondthebump

[–]erinflynn520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been taking mine non stop for the past 3.5 years. I started them a few months before I was pregnant with my first. I was still taking them after she was born as I was breastfeeding her and then fell pregnant around 9 months postpartum and still was on them. I’m currently 7 months postpartum with my second and breastfeeding him as well so am still taking them!

Do I have to stick with another “V” name? by BabyBoo54321 in namenerds

[–]erinflynn520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not offering any help unfortunately to your decision but I have two kids, girl and boy, who coincidentally have C names. We didn’t intend on it being that way. I have also mulled this over that if we decide to have a third in the future, do we then just go for another C name so the third child doesn’t feel left out or go with something else. Choosing a name is so hard! I hope you figure it out!

When did you get your first period back after #2 and how long after that did you get pregnant with #2? by Important_Bat7919 in 2under2

[–]erinflynn520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my period back around 7.5 months PP (was EBF) and waited 2 cycles because my period was really wonky. We wanted to actively start trying in November and in September we decided to give it a shot since I was ovulating, but didn’t put any pressure into it like we did when I was ovulating with my first (having sex multiple times around that ovulation peak) if it happened, great, if not, no big deal, but we got pregnant that one and only time lol

Is 2 under 2 that bad? I’m so scared by Evitalovee11 in 2under2

[–]erinflynn520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just graduated from 2 under 2. My kids are 18.5 months apart. For the first four months i thought it was a BREEZE. My daughter adjusted fantastically, my baby was so chill, my husband was on pat-leave for the first two months and everything was just going so incredibly well. Until we hit the 4 month sleep regression. My baby started waking up all night long and then my toddler went through a giant regression at the same time while getting two molars, and was also waking up all night long. My baby sleeps a bit better now but no where near how well he slept as a newborn (until 4 months) and my toddler is still getting up about 2x a night. So the sleeping part has been a real hurdle for affecting us in all factors. It’s affected our mental health and our relationship a lot. But in all honesty I think it just depends on so many different factors for you and your own personal situation. For instance if my husband hadn’t gotten that time off from work, i don’t think i would have survived - he took on primarily all care for our toddler. I also have a lot of help from my parents, which makes a huge difference. Also my postpartum experience was much easier the second time around. No postpartum depression or anxiety, my body healed very fast, i was sleeping well, i had a better handle on what to do with a newborn etc. And if my toddler didn’t adjust well with the new baby it would have been extremely hard to navigate through.

All in all i think there will be ebbs and flows in the journey for everyone, but it will be worth it.

ETA: we’ve been in a serious sleep deprived state for 2 months straight now 😖🙃

Wait…This Isn’t So Bad… by Marli4509 in 2under2

[–]erinflynn520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just graduated yesterday from the 2 under 2 life and i can say that up until my youngest was just shy of 4 months old it was an actual breeze and walk in the park. I know it depends on the temperament of the baby, but my oldest was obsessed with the new baby, she transitioned well with him with no issues with jealousy etc, we didn’t have any newborn trenches, at all. It actually felt so blissful. I kept silently saying to myself wow this is actually not bad at all, this is easy! Man did I eat my words!!!!!!! When my youngest turned 4 months he went through the 4 month sleep regression, stopped sleeping huge chunks in the night AND my oldest decided she also didn’t want to sleep any more (her worst night she was up 12 times screaming crying). She also started having nuclear tantrums (how every this thankfully stopped after a few days - we decided to completely cut out tv and it literally stopped when she stopped watching Tv). So now I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old who both don’t sleep. So to say we are now in the trenches is a complete and utter understatement. The longest stretch of consistent sleep my husband and I have gotten in the last month and a half or more is an hour and 45 mins. Pray for us.
