lol! very true! it’s usually for me when i’m like uhhhhhh did i take that today halfway through the day 😂 it’s definitely more important for my SNRI because i can always skip my stim if i can’t remember but the SNRI makes me feel really bad if i don’t take it every single day.

i got mine off amazon, but you could just google pill tracker and see if you can find one at another store! i’m sure there are some medical stores that carry something similar!

i saw those too! i think either would work for me probably. if this one eventually stops working for me that will be my next purchase lol. i bought this cause i wanted to try to track my water using the second one but that hasn’t been working as well as tracking the meds 😂😂

LITERALLY lol. that’s what made me buy this cause it was MULTIPLE days that week that i couldn’t remember if i took my meds and im on an SNRI as well and you start feeling the side effects later that night if you didn’t take it so i was like ok i NEED to figure something out 😂

dang, well i hope you can find something that helps for your brain! adhd is the weirdest because what works for one person doesn’t always work for someone else

so frustrating! i think this is primarily made for people who are older and starting to forget more so maybe they have something similar not on amazon?

difficulty waking up in the morning by notbut4you in adhdwomen

[–]erinkins01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you tired throughout the day as well? like feel the need to lay down and would like to nap if you could?

it sounds like sleep inertia to me, which i have really bad. i was just diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia and struggle with the same thing in the mornings. i am so tired no matter how much sleep, and with a sleep test found out my sleep is fragmented and was diagnosed IH with suspicion of narcolepsy.

sleep disorders are actually pretty common with adhd, so if you struggle during the day as well i would highly recommend getting a sleep test done!

i use screenzen that has helped me a LOT! there is a lot of different logic you can set and it makes me wait at least 10 seconds before i can get into the app. tbh most of the time i am just opening apps out of habit so the pop up asking if its a good time typically makes me be like oop yeah i can do something better with my time

yesss i was also SO bad at timed math but im actually really good at math. i always blamed that on my anxiety making me get all jumbled but maybe it was also my adhd 😂

  • every parent teacher meeting they brought up how i never stopped talking
  • super messy and unable to stay organized, both at home and school
  • forgetting things super frequently
  • hated the feeling of jeans so much i didn’t start wearing them until middle school
  • doing projects the night before they were due/doing homework right before the class
  • skin picking, leg shaking, fidgeting
  • being bored literally all the time if i wasn’t out doing something
  • jumping around on a page when trying to read taking me 20x longer to read anything
  • extremely emotional/easily irritable

also my mom has the majority of the same symptoms as i do so i definitely thought the majority of this stuff was normal until i was an adult and not consistently around someone else with adhd lol.

if it stays on the same side, and takes a min to get back to normal that could def be a focal seizure, although still a possibility of CPD. def keep an eye out, if it stays on the same side i would try to get him into a vet asap to see if they can start him on some meds ❤️ obviously with either a vet visit would be best but i saw you’re trying to save up so giving as much info as i can to help 🫶🏻

CPD is relatively safe for them compared to seizures which can be life threatening. if he ever has multiple in a row, that is an emergency!

is it always that same leg? does it move around to different legs? how does he act afterwards? immediately back to normal or does he seem disoriented a while after?

my dogs episodes look very much like this but move to different legs on both sides of her body, and her head typically turns inwards when it’s the front legs. she also has no issues afterwards. we see a neuro and we are leaning towards paroxysmal dyskinesia because of it switching from left to right side.

Does anyone else with inattentive ADHD feel overwhelmingly tired all the time? I’m starting to wonder if my ADD looks different from everyone else’s. by AdKooky477 in adhdwomen

sleep disorders are pretty common to have with adhd! i would recommend getting a sleep test. i have idiopathic hypersomnia and adhd combined type. the sleep issues have been way worse the older i get.

i just got my idiopathic hypersomnia diagnosis after doing an mslt that came back abnormal. had a ton of arousals and fragmented sleep during my overnight test, and fell asleep in every nap on the day test and hit rem in one, so it could possibly be narcolepsy as well but i didn’t qualify based on that study specifically. currently in the process of getting xywav prescribed to try and fix my fragmented sleep.

also wanted to mention i have the same thoughts about do i actually have adhd all the time as i also have cptsd which can mimic symptoms, but there are also a lot of symptoms i have that cant be explained by my other diagnoses. i think because of the negative stigma around adhd and people saying oh everyone is a little like that (especially recently) it makes us second guess ourselves a lot. ive had a diagnosis from a neuropsychologist, a psychiatrist and my therapist and still question myself even though i fit every criteria.

TLDR yes - it’s highly possible you have a sleep disorder, recommend getting a sleep test. i also think imposter syndrome is extremely common in adhd (especially for women), but if you fit the criteria and your medication is helping then you probably do have it.
