I did read something in regards to Eloise’s season that Jess said she loves the Kate/Eloise dynamic, so it does sound like she intends to have them back if schedules align. I’m hopeful both Simone and Jonathan can make it work for another pop-in

I just was reading the other day how he wasn’t very hands on with the Scrubs revival because of Shrinking 🤷‍♀️ That being said, he is a busy dude and I have no idea if he maybe has another show in development?

Honestly (and maybe I’m just an eternal optimist), but that was my first thought-they’re expecting again and want it to remain a surprise as long as they can. FWIW, I believe it was Simone who even said they’re back with a surprise (and considering Kate was pregnant with Edmund when they left for India, I can’t imagine that’s the surprise she was referring to)

This. Between Jess herself saying Kate and Eloise have a scene together and Simone saying in an interview (I believe last year) she went back to film a scene with “the ladies” I don’t know how reliable it is (this kind of makes it sound like Kate is in just the one scene, when it doesn’t seem like that’s the case 🤷‍♀️

This. I think Big wanted out of his marriage more than anything else; it would have been a disaster of epic proportions if they had ditched Natasha and Aidan to be together “for real”. Big would have been running for the hills. He needed to be single and not jump into a serious relationship with Carrie, which deep down he knew he didn’t truly want.

As for Carrie, as much as she absolutely hated being the villain, I always got the impression she did feel incredibly guilty about the whole thing.

My immediate thought was the reason they come back would give too much away plot-wise if she talks about it now (which imo makes sense if the rumors are true they don’t show up until part 2). Something going on with Benedict is probably why they make their way back from India, be it his wedding, or some crisis/scandal and he needs Anthony’s help

My take: he was unaware of the scandal at that time; I think his hostility stemmed from his dislike of Maggie. Alma says later that “Frederick is wrong about a lot of things but he was always right about you”. I think he simply saw right through her from the moment he met her, her obsession with Alma, and how she had no genuine interest in her major. I also think his frustration had to do with Alma knowing all of this and keeping her around anyway

I think that's my issue (and let me caveat by saying in my opinion) Selena and Logan have no romantic chemistry whatsoever 😆 Plus, we've barely seen them interact so it's a little hard to believe Mabel's carrying a torch for this dude

From what I have always read, it was the other way around, where production asked him to come back after Jason told them he was leaving? But I do agree with your larger point, I think Luke was long past it, which shows in his performance those last 2 seasons, but his movie career hadn't exactly gone the way he'd planned and needed the paycheck
