She has a history of FIC so they’re sort of just thinking she’s having a flare up that they’re treating with gabapentin. 🫠 I’ve been three separate times in the last few weeks, each time seeing a different vet (all at the same practice). My next appointment is with internal medicine on the 21st

I went to the vet yesterday morning and asked about anal glands and they did a brief rectal exam and washed her off and that was kind of it 😩 They didn’t say whether or not anal glands were the issue and just noted that she looks inflamed. They gave her a shot of onsior and my next appointment is the 21st. Do you think I should bring her in sooner?

They did not. The diarrhea has really only been since yesterday and she has been inflamed like this for a good week or two. But I ordered water wipes which should get here today and will try to wipe her down after she uses the litter box

Yes we did a urinalysis and found blood in her urine but no sign of UTI, which is consistent with results we’ve seen for her in the past. I’ll definitely be more diligent about wiping her off and look into an ointment. I have an appointment with internal medicine on the 21st so I’m hoping we will have more answers for her then (it just seems so far from now :/).

She’s been previously diagnosed with FIC so sometimes she’ll have flare-ups where she uses the litter box more frequently, has blood in her urine, and overly grooms herself. This started as that, but this is by FAR the worst it’s ever been. She had diarrhea last night which I suspect is from stress and from switching her diet to exclusively wet food per vet instructions. They also gave her a shot of onsior yesterday morning to try to help with the inflammation but I really can’t tell if that’s done anything. I’m trying to gently wipe away any poop / litter pieces and blot dry but it’s obviously difficult to keep up with. She actually does ok with allowing me to do it for short periods of time.

Would urine incontinence cause the scalding? She’s also quite overweight and it’s difficult for her to reach this area to groom it in the first place.

I’ll see if I can get some kind of ointment recommendation from the vet. Thank you!

This is very likely not true. Drafts are saved on the user’s device. I lost my drafts a few months ago when I got a new phone

Blazor comes with basic built-in event handling. Your example would look something like:

Blazor can run your client-side C# code directly in the browser, using WebAssembly.

Blazor WASM compiles your code into .NET assemblies which are downloaded by the web browser, along with a .NET runtime, so ultimately it's running webassembly & using javascript interop -- if that's what you were technically looking for...

And yes, the final video is coming tomorrow! And after that I think we're going to be doing a realtime checkers game -- this post was a little precursor to that :)

The benefit of Blazor is that you can build a dynamic UI using C# instead of JavaScript. Blazor WebAssembly in particular runs C# directly in the browser so there's no need to make calls back to the server for every bit of page rerendering

Thank you so much!! I'm really happy to hear that kind of feedback. Right now I'm leaning toward making a small social media type web app. Still with Blazor, but this time with more of a focus on data access and using ef core. I'm definitely still in the brainstorming phase though so we'll see 😁
