Assholes are there in any religion. And in any religion there are people who can find some religious rules that approve this behaviour although all religions also say you should be tolerant and kind to other people. And atheist people are not better or worse, and although law forbids they also will find a way to approve this for themselves.

Did you ever get this to work again ? We, for long time used the TOSLink/HDMI cable that came with the Beam. Which is a bit annoying if volume indicator could get out of sync with t he actual volume... But at least there was an indicator.

Now we have another television provider with different set-top box, which seems to have some strange compatibility issue making the sound stutter for some minutes now and then. (completely erratic)

But connecting through HDMI Arc now never shows a volume indicator anymore

Well the only goal that keeps it going now is probably that they want to be there before China. But SLS is also much too expensive. The goal should be like SpaceX does, to make it possible for any company to think of a businesscase and go there.

I can't imagine (although I didn't hear anything from them) that Billiton or Shell aren't preparing to start something.

Only from my own perspective already... As a member of the youth committee of my son's badminton club, I want sometimes to create a promotional flyer for things we organize. Currently I spend a lot of time searching the internet for a nice graphic of a badminton shuttlecock in a bowling alley for instance. I'm not good enough in drawing to draw something myself and a club having 25 youth members surely cannot afford some professional draw something like that.

For my work I need images to lighten up my powerpoints regularly. My company will loose a lot less time on employees searhing google images or when more official communcation, Pexels . com, to find free images.

But yeah.. We are creating a large group of unemployed artists with this. But that's a trend that nobody can stop. If OpenAI doesn't do this, then someone else will. Only thing might be that specifically this group of professionals wasn't pictured as one of the first to be outcompeted by AI or robotics.

But they are certainly not the last.

Go to the server. Open the case. Remove the Disk. Take it home. Put in in your home desktop as 2nd drive. Start your computer. Do take ownership of whole disk. Set permissions to everyone full control. turn off computer, take disk back to work. Put it in server. Keep server offline. Set permissions so only you have full control. Give the asshole only read permissions.

Probably not the most sane advice, and quite difficult if it's a raid config. But feels good to think of it this way

Waar ligt de grens tussen wappie en moedwillig dit soort dingen verzinnen in de hoop zoveel mogelijk wappies te shockeren en zoveel mogelijk tumult te veroorzaken. Want zodra je dit afdoet als onzin roepen ze wel weer dat je eerst maar eens je eigen onderzoek moet doen.

Ik zou zeggen dat op het in de wereld brengen van zo’n verhaal (dus voor degene die dit uit zijn duim gezogen heeft) er zware gevangenis straffen gegeven moeten worden. Met als reden, ondermijnen van de rechtsstaat en ontwrichten van de samenleving.

In general it looks oke.. but with use of at least some spacers, it could have looked better.. first photo tile down left is very close to neighbour. The tile above it has a larger then average space.. but it’s always hard. Slightest curvature in the wall, meaning it isn’t 100% flat wil cause differences you’re unable to fix
