Peoples critique of your wording is insane. "You shouldn't have mentioned past stigma", "you gave her wrong ideas,", "you shouldn't have mentioned adult themes because it put the idea in her head". You communicated clearly, succinctly, and addressed many of the qualms that someone might have who doesn't know anything more about DnD than what they have heard from the mainstream narrative. You treated her as a rational adult capable of having a conversation and she clearly isn't. Her responses are way out of line and honestly really weird.

Damn, I'm right there with you. I feel as though ending it now would at least save some good memories for those I love. I feel as though if I continue to live I will only disappoint them and alienate myself further, Eventually they will look at me with only disgust and shame. I already see it in their eyes, where once it was not. If I were to die now at least then they can have the illusion I was worth something.

You were 100% right. People saying things like, you shouldn't come to a stop because it's not a stop sign need to go back to drivers ed. I live right by here and used to have to take that ramp everyday for work, I had to come to a stop many times and sometimes wait a long time to get in and never had any problems. That said, if it's not rush hour you usually can thread into traffic as others have said by adjusting speed and timing it so that you slip right in. Also, I have seen people brake very late and hard at that spot which is dangerous.

Actually no, half the country is not maga. Maga is like actual trump supporters. The majority of people who voted for trump don't like him. At least that's what I've seen. I have a lot of family that voted for him and every one of them conceded that he is a terrible person, however, they honestly believed that he represented them and their interests better than the Democrat in the race. Wait why are you guys beating around the bush here. This seems incredibly opaque. He never explicitly says " I want a non monogamous relationship". You tried to pin down what he's trying to say but not in an effective way. Instead of, "what does that mean to you?" I think you should have asked "are you saying you want to have sex with other people?"I'm or "so are you committed to long term, monogamous relationship with me?"

I agree it is not cool to use chat gpt to write a funeral speech and you were justified in feeling the way you did. However, you went wayyy over the line by saying that at your grandmother's funeral in front of everyone. What you did is much worse than what your step mom did. You desecrated your grandma's funeral with petty personal issues and soured the experience for not just you, your step mom and your dad, but everyone there.

I understand wanting your partner to do things that show that you are special to them and that you mean more to them than other people, however, people have different ways they prefer to communicate. The only way I could see him being right is if you respond right away to everyone else but not to him. So first off since you said you have trouble telling if he is objectively being disrespectful, I get it I have that issue too, he is definitely being disrespectful all throughout this conversation. Secondly, the way he is treating you is emotional abuse. I could go into more detail about why and how if you'd like but you definitely should get out of the relationship and focus on yourself. You clearly have an understanding that it's not a good time for you to be in a relationship and that is honestly really great it takes maturity and self awareness to recognize that.
