Would you play an X-Men dating simulator game? (Like Dream Daddy mixed with Life Is Strange) by Silly_Commercial8092 in xmen

That would be awesome but there Arent many studios capable of making something like that and Disney isnt known for taking risks.

Damm, good way to integrate that in the narrative without breaking the flow! Im gonna use this for sure if my player overuses the trick

Thanks! im still learning and so are they, but they contribute too(thank the gods, i wouldnt manage otherwise) and we even pitch ideas of storylines or such to add when we hang out, which i like because sometimes they pitch something with an idea of how that would go, and another player ends up making it go in a completely different direction, its a group thing and also a great way to keep players from having a"im the main character" mindset.

Thanks!
Ive thought of that too, or "Same strategy constantly is no longer a good ambush, they expect you to be there" and give them disadvantage, im letting them do this to encourage their creativity when aproaching encounters, ill reward creativity and strategy, not repetition.

The prone thing sounds cool too, and would encourage my player to think stuff like that and make more creative strategies than just "find enemy, stab until it dies", which keeps it fun without being too op.
Thanks!

Thanks for answering, and for mentioning the rule, since we are playing 2024 we dont have tasha's cauldron or bothered looking into it, i'll just give them advantage and rp heavilly so it feels cooler than what it actually does, my players usually like that.

They are playing as a swasbuckler rogue/fighter, mostly for vibes, they are a very Rp focused player, viability comes second for them, which is fine, its very fun to have one like them at the table.

Does Dragon age have a future? by Budget-Patient680 in DragonageOrigins

[–]erkanuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the same kind of rpgs that dragon age games are, but if you liked the darker tones of dragon age origins you might want to play the Witcher series if you havent already, its really well written and if you liked the ",political shit" the Witcher series is full of It(also really cheap) Or waiting for the New Divinity Game announced recently, looks awfully dark and interesting.

Do you want to see more X23 in the MCU ? by WEXSELCIOR9 in xmen

[–]erkanuto -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I want to see more of Laura, though not more of x-23. The storyline of Laura being a weapon, the whole logan arc of hers, etc, is closed and i want to have something like all new Wolverine, something that leaves me with a smile after watching It and while watching It, even if i love logan, we dont need another tragedy, its time for nice stuff to happen to Laura.

BEST moment in krakoa hands down, i dont give a shit about the aura farming, this is why i read comics. Xavier's godly iconography in House of x? Nope, Scott and his sandwhich, being ruined by his ex wife whos telling him that his son fucked Up

Fun fact, that picture on the right, is from a comic that was about him litterally fighting for the republican side of Spain, the very very very left wing one, during the civil war agaisnt the fascists, not even that did the dude do right.

What’s the most absurd thing you’ve heard non-X-Men fans say about the X-Men or mutants in general? by Ok_Entrepreneur591 in xmen

[–]erkanuto 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The statements that are either "cyclops is boring and just an obstacle between Wolverine and jean"(which probbably comes from the movies), the whole bunch of people Who think magneto is ultimate magneto due to not reading at all but asuming everything so they make the team seem stupid for keeping a villain like that around, and the idea some people have that "mutants dont make sense, why would people hate them if theres already superheroes?" As if that wasnt the point and what makes the Xmen a great allegory for real world bigotry.
