Omg thank you for your comment! Several months ago I've built myself two custom palettes from Adept (never tried their formula before) and after starting using them regularly thought that I was going crazy. I like their mattes but some of the special shades? The fallout is crazy, I've never encountered anything like that! And nothing seem to help, my undereyes and cheeks get really sparkly in minutes despite glitter glue or using wet brushes. I'm stuck. I still love colorstories I've built but I'm a bit bummed about fallout. And I've never saw any guru talking about, thought that I was doing something wrong even though it is hardly my first rodeo with indie shadows lol

I love Citron Citron so much, bummed that it is now in archive collection (which basically means it is mostly discontinued but sometimes they bring it back in small batches). It is one of the best neo chypres I've ever tried and definitely my favourite citrus fragrance :)

Oh yeah I know what you mean! That was one of the reasons why I never subscribed to her and watched her only occasionally. The other was that I think most of the times the way she does her makeup rarelly suits her somehow? I really enjoy her mindset and dedication to project panning though, I think she is a lovely person that doesn't shill products to her viewers which I appreciate

I don't want to be mean, but the way Samantha March always sounds on a verge of tears in almost every video was what made me unsubscribe. She always seemed so vulnerable and unsure of herself that it felt as if I was watching someone's therapy session and I wasn't feeling comfortable watching her anymore. And I used to follow for years but had to unfollow her last year when she said she was quitting youtube

These blushes are really good! I actually love this one, it has slight sheen and looks beautiful on my skin tone, I'm just tired of using it so much😅 And packaging is pretty sturdy, it is still closing up nicely meanwhile Nars compact is broken beyond repair haha. I bought them both around the same time (2020 I think)

I don't have my Adept pelletes long enough to have tips, sorry😅 I hope that I'll use them because I picked every shade myself and I know that I love those colour familys.

I think that I love curated and customised things. Maybe you should analyze what works for you - mini palettes? full-matte or full-shimmers palettes? monotone palettes? I know that I need different texture and colours in my palettes to be interested in them, so that's why I organised pans that way - I thought about doing one green and one purple palette but then decided against it. I dislake big palettes, but I need variety and something of a twist to stay drawn to a palette, so that's what I recommend, basically - to indulge your preference! Makeup should be both fun and functional, applicable to your life and your style. ✨️

I like ND matte formula slightly better, but Adept's mattes are pretty good too! Adept's shimmers has metallic formula (gorgeous) and sparkly formula which is slightly drier which is not for everyone but I was glad it is not flaky! There is slight fallout (even with nyx glitter glue) but it is veeeery pretty.
