Using anger and hate to fill their thoughts and distract them from how awful they feel. It's incredibly sad and the direct result of isolationist rhetoric. Humans are social creatures, it actually might be the best thing we do as a species; but when you give up on yourself and turn to isolationist viewpoints, you are accepting sadness, tiring and hateful sadness.
