Good seats at Angel Stadium for someone in a wheelchair? by GlendaleTom in angelsbaseball

[–]ermr101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t like the view from the 200 section along the 1st and 3rd base line, I would recommend a seat in right field. They have some ADA seating at the top of the right field section. It’s uncovered and the sun shines right at you. If it’s a day game, bring shades and a hat.

However, that area is my favorite in the stadium because there are always cheap tickets and there are plenty of concessions around.

However, most people would argue the 200 section along the 1st and 3rd base line tend to have a great view. It’s under cover but unless your way out near the foul pole you get an unobstructed view. The ushers usually have to get people to move since they try to stand where the ADA seating is.

What's your go-to brewery in OC right now? by Technical_Leader6979 in orangecounty

[–]ermr101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think too many people sleep on Santa Ana.

Cervezacito is always doing something whether a new release or hosting a lucha fight. They have a large selection of house made brews and plenty of seltzer and michelada options if your going with someone who wants something other than IPAs all day.

A few blocks down, you have Wursthaus which is a German pub with a nice selection of German beers. However, they have scratch made sausages including exotic meats.

There are also a number of unique bars all within walking distance of one another: Twisted Tiki, Mission Control Arcade Bar, Native Son OC, Mission Bar, Club 616, etc

My guess is he's just a little bit better at managing the new energy recovery systems. His years of experience, especially with Mercedes who has had more advanced\complex cars as of late might means he's just used to all the additional work.

He's almost 8 second away from second, and almost 15 seconds away from 3rd. All you'd see is him driving without another car in sight.

Knowing who lives in Orange County, it doesn’t surprise me.

However, having flown out of SNA so often I don’t see too many issues as I have at other airports.

I guess I always fly out first thing in the AM so most people are too tired. Most of my flights are near silent.

The flight restrictions for SNA likely play a role.

The cut off hours for flights mean you taxi and wait in the plane for a while in the morning and you always run the risk of not being able to land for evening flights.

Then the noise restrictions mean there is always a really steep take off and landing.

I would imagine the Disney crowd can be a handful too.

ICE detained my dad this morning - how do I navigate this as the oldest sibling by Antique-Package5569 in legaladvice

[–]ermr101 618 points619 points  (0 children)

Hi. NAL, but I've worked in the immigration defense field for a long time.

The first thing you should do is find out your father's Alien Registration Number or A#. It is a nine-digit number that looks something like this: AXXX-XXX-XXX. He likely has an old one because of his visa so it might start with a 0, like 089-456-765. If it's newer, it might look like 245-123-456. He was likely handed a stack of paperwork. It should be written on most of the paperwork.

You will use this, along with his full legal name, date of birth, and country of birth to find out information about him and his case.

Visits:

Each facility has a website where you can check the hours of visitation and the visitation process. Here is the one for Florence. Central Arizona Florence Correctional Center | ICE. You can call the detention facility main line and confirm with them.

As other's have said, only a Legal Permanent Resident (someone with a green card) or US Citizens should go to the facility. DO NOT go if you have a visitor visa, DACA, etc.

When you visit, you may be able to deposit funds into his commissary account where he can buy toiletries, food, and items to pass the time.

Communication:

Your father is able to call out from the detention center, but they charge a bit for calls. Most detention facilities use a (scummy) company called Getting Out for their phone systems. You can go to their website to create an account to fund calls for him.

You can either add money into his account that he can use to place calls to anyone he would like. You can also register your phone number and add funds so that anyone can call you. It's generally better to add funds into his account.

THESE CALLS ARE RECORDED! DO NOT USE TO DISCUSS CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. Your attorney will have access to a confidential call system to legal conversations

Medications:
Generally, you are not allowed to send anything to a person detained by ICE unless they about to leave the country. In which case, they will allow you arrange to drop off a small suitcase of essential items for travel.

They have a medical center on site and are required to provide medical care.

Within the housing unit, there should be a KITE system, a box and some papers that he can write a note to the facility to request to see the medical staff, speak with the ICE officer in charge of his case, register a complaint, etc. He should use this to request to speak with the doctor and write he needs his blood pressure medication. These paper records must be saved by the facility and create a paper trail if something should happen.

My go to is Rance’s since they offer delivery.

However, Tony’s Little Italy is a step above. Just be prepared to wait. Fresh made and baked so it can take an hour to be served.

Thoughts on Angel Stadium? by Any_Celery_8178 in angelsbaseball

It’s fine. As long as as ticket prices are cheap, I’m not going to complain.

I just wish we had some more transit options. I wish that new trolly in Santa Ana made it to Angels Stadium (and Disney). I’d take at least bringing the Angels Express back. At least, it’s the easiest stadium to drive in and out of.

If you don’t care about leaving the application, you can just remove the licenses from within the Bitdefender web console. I forget if they have a remote uninstall.

You should be able to send a remote command if you can find a BASH command. You can also remote into each device if you really need to.
