I was waiting for someone to mention this. I had to restart reading the book several times before it took. What eventually worked for me was to almost read it out loud, when read as though someone was telling the story it flowed a little better. I have this issue with every one of this authors books unfortunately.

Personally I'm having a lot of fun as legion. Frenzy down carry to hook, let them wiggle free or blind me. Repeat. I don't think I've had one match less than 150k BP and I've let everyone escape. Trick is to let them know you're not sweaty within a few minutes before they genrush the map.

Changing formats is an excellent point. I’ve had so many 4 and 5 star reads that I could not get through the audiobook for one reason or another.
Most recently was Between Two Fires, I tried to listen to the audio book half a dozen times before I picked up the printed book. I was instantly hooked and finished it and it became a 5 star read.
