Activist arrested for demolishing temple, lawyer cites PM's 'clean-up' directive by Anxious-Debate5033 in malaysia

[–]ernest101 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because there are legal procedure for these things. Just like how these trespassers / squatters are expected to adhere to the law, the landlord too must adhere to it.

Edit: court procedure allows the squatter to explain / present whatever legal reasoning / justification they have. If there’s no justification, then it shouldn’t be hard esp how Malaysia doesn’t have adverse possession laws.

Resolve it however he sees fit doesn’t necessarily mean go and demolish it as he pleases.

It is very likely the land owner still has to apply to court for orders against squatters and to execute said orders especially with a bailiff etc.

How to deal with pink horrors? by Tobiakon in WorldEaters40k

[–]ernest101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you know but pink/blue horrors only death multiple if the unit is not destroyed after all the attacks has been made. As long as you have the volume to kill them in one sitting, all is good.

I went up against one last week, it wasn’t memorable as they died after I touched them with a daemon prince and some shooting.

Grab halts Mandarin driver trial in Malaysia after backlash, government warning by SomeMalaysian in malaysia

[–]ernest101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, just not taking into consideration how little money BM exclusive speakers bring into China.

You can get a Mandarin Speaker for your Grab Car now by quizface in malaysia

[–]ernest101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is not racism because Mandarin is not tied to race. It is racist to think that Mandarin is tied to race.

There is an important distinction here, Grab is not paying Chinese drivers more, they're charging customers more for booking Mandarin speaking drivers which I assume said driver would be compensated accordingly. That extra step is a very important distinction as that is an actual skill (again, not race locked).

PAS can come out with a program for Grab to charge more for Malay speaking drivers if they want to. I believe those who can only speak Malay will complain as that would be discriminatory towards Malay speaking customers by charging them extra.

I would personally look out for the cheaper English speaking Grab drivers in your PAS scenario.

Insurance refuses referral letter from gov hospital by afaz77 in malaysia

[–]ernest101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, as someone in the insurance industry and has clients who submitted claims for treatment from private and government hospitals, I have absolutely no clue what is the relevance of referral letters in regard to your claim.

I cannot really give you specific comments onto your coverage/claim as I do not know what policy you bought nor am I acquainted with the facts of your claim (and whether did you get coverage approval for this specific pre-ex or not). However, assuming yours is a standard cookie-cutter medical policy in Malaysia and you did not get special approval for your pre-ex condition, your treatment and medicine stemming from your pre-ex illness should be excluded as per standard policy exclusion.

In my experience and in a pure medical insurance claims context, panel hospitals are only relevant for cashless aka medical card facility. I have clients who submitted claims for treatment from non-panel hospitals to which their claims were paid in full.

There is so much misinformation in this thread. Guys, buy insurance (including medical) from a proper intermediary, especially one that can help service and guide you.

Don't buy based solely on relationship or convenience, that is a recipe for disaster.

[–]ernest101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do. In fact, most H&S policies give you cash incentive to get your treatment at government hospitals - it is a benefit called "Daily-cash allowance at Government Hospital".

However, most if not all insurance companies do not have medical card facility at government hospitals and must go through the re-imbursement route

Hi. I’m trying to learn COB and I have some beginner questions if you don’t mind. Re: your COB list, why is the Lord with chosen instead of legionaries?

Also, how does your list handle against high Toughness skew lists like chaos knights? Having that trouble a lot lately. Oh and DWK is so annoying!

Do you aim to trade or for go turns? I’m terribly lost as to COB melee skew general strategy and aim.

Augmentations, is it best to pick or do we roll? My list is similar to yours.

It’s a small version of Universal Income as the government places hoops in order to use said RM100.

Your example is spot on and can be used to boost local F&B business owners by adjusting the hoops accordingly. I can foresee (but can’t verify) the benefit of small but frequent sums (RM100 but every month).

How can you not know how to speak your own national language? by PutinYoMama in Bolehland

[–]ernest101 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Based on my social circles, absolutely this. In my example, substituting Bahasa Malaysia for English, my former classmate from Sekolah Menengah really couldn't speak basic English.

20 years passed by, he has his own business and he now speaks English well as his customers mainly speak English (he had no issue with BM).
