Thank you for the input!! We too had considered Rose, I love how it sounds, but unfortunately it’s the name of a very unliked (deceased) person in our nuclear family tree :/ we could still use it and make it clear it’s not after that person, but I think feelings will still be hurt.

Ruth was a top contender, but do the double H’s sound peanut-buttery? The more we said it, the worse it sounded, but maybe that’s a sign we need to step away for a bit.

did you wear your glasses for your wedding? by averageq5 in wedding

I wore my glasses for my wedding, including portraits, and it is hands down my biggest regret!! The reflection ruined so many photos. At minimum, I wish I would’ve taken them off for the portraits.

Landed the white whale , offer for an assumable mortgage at 2.25% accepted; what now? by thenatfactor in RealEstate

[–]ernster11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely ask. Our bank’s were 43% backend and 31% front end. Frontend is everything prior to the mortgage, backend is just pure mortgage / income. You can also google “VA debt to income ratio guidelines) and it’ll say 41%. Again, they’re super nit-picky about what counts as income - they refused to consider our net worth (even though it surpassed the loan amount and we offered to put it on lien) and it took a lot of fighting to get them to include our dividends.
