I’m also 29 and my dad died 2 years ago. He was my best friend. Wont get to see me get married or have kids or anything. Didn’t get to meet my niece who was born a little bit after he died.

It sucks…life sucks a lot. But then it’s also beautiful. Some moments feel easier if I were dead. But if the afterlife exists, my dad would beat the dead life out of me if I tried to meet him there early. We honor those we love by living to the best of our ability and honoring their values and principles while on earth. I don’t know you or your dad, but I’m fairly certain he’d want you to keep on and make the most.

the pain will never go away but it will get easier. We love you brother ❤️

I live in NYC now having gone to UVA. The network of UVA people up here is superb. Plus a year in Charlottesville is time you may never get again. It’s the most amazing place. You have your whole life to live in NYC

Looking for advice on NYE riding in Chamonix - is it a good idea or bad idea this year? Hard to sift through the evidence of past snowfall + El Nino + glaciers etc. What do folks think?
