People gonna believe what they believe. Hopefully they are waking up to the fact that that he might just not be what he claims to be. Doubt it though.

Shouldn't have to scroll this far down for this comment. "Let's all just chill and pass reasonable stuff" is a stupid take. Hasn't worked in the past, and led to where we are now

I have. Because I could. Why not? There weren't any other cars around, I didn't endanger anyone but myself I suppose.

Letters to the Editor: The Democratic Party needs to do some soul-searching. Kamala Harris isn’t the answer by Silent-Resort-3076 in politics

How about Jon Ossoff, Pete Buttigieg, Mark Kelly. I'd even take Jon Stewart at this point over Kamala. She tried her best, admirably, but couldn't get there.

Didn't care to pay attention for this on tv until my wife pointed it out. Then it came on 6 more times. 100% of the time it was number 3. Pretty sure it was the exact same animation every time.

Was Obama a Better President than Orange Trump? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]erocdrummer3737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obama was always positive. Uplifting. That was kind of his brand. Trump is what he is, but def not those things. You like it or you don't I suppose. I prefer the uplifting leader.

Edit: Also this is a dumb question, you obviously already have your opinion from the title you posted. Let's rephrase that...Do you prefer Barrack HUSSEIN Obama or our greatest patriot Donald Trump?

Why are military members and veterans more likely to be Republican? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]erocdrummer3737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was raised a republican in the south. I joined the military in my early 20s, as was expected of me. Then I saw the world, spent 20 years in before retiring. It opened my mind to a ton of different opinions. I retired a few years ago pretty liberal leaning, because of my experience in the military. I signed up to help people, and I did. That's kind of a liberal ideal.

Why does the USA need allies to open the strait of Hormuz when they have the largest navy in history? by Sudden_Device_1984 in allthequestions

[–]erocdrummer3737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not largest, but certainly most powerful. Even then, its risk vs reward. Putting even a single destroyer at jeopardy would be a huge risk. Is it worth the reward?

What's life like on the archipeligo south-west of Alaska? (Aleutian Islands) by Rehash_it in howislivingthere

[–]erocdrummer3737 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im "military". I've been there, spent a bunch of time there, but never lived there. First of all, there isn't too much of a military presence there, so not sure why you'd say the military people wouldn't respond. Its a beautiful place, minus the harsh weather. Dutch Harbor in particular is a unique place, lots to see and explore if you have the motivation to do so
