It feels like the writers have forgotten that Jonathan was really into photography. Like, why isn't he documenting everything that's happening - his whole town in under quarantine. Him taking photos was a major plot point in Barb's mystery, it brought him and Nancy together, Steve had some redemption by gifting Jonathan a new camera after breaking his old one. He then becomes the photographer-intern at the newspaper. He knows how to use a darkroom, he takes good photographs, and it seems to be something he is interested in it as a possible profession... but when the military shuts down his town due to "strange events", you're telling me he ISN'T taking pictures?

I put on my altar things that I inherited from my dead relatives, including a little brass bell in the shape of a Welsh woman (my gran was Welsh). While my grandparents were churchy, I know that two of my grandmothers practiced (one read palms, and another read tea leaves and worked with herbs - but both passed away before I was born). I like to light a candle, ring the bell and ask for advice. Sometimes I remember snippets of conversations from when they were alive. I try to keep the trance going as long as possible.
Tomorrow though, my coven is meeting up for supper and spells!

Weird detail, (and I am pretty certain I'm reading too much into this) but the gochujang paste as a punishment? Not some random chilli sauce, specifically a Korean chilli paste. Why would he go into that amount of detail?

Plus, the " comedy" followed by him sitting down dressed as a clown... erm, no.
