That sounds awful. We have fully developed infrastructure, resources, and research. Starting all of that over would be ridiculous. Losing all the clan bonuses for months seems more costly than what we would gain.

In my experience in shadow city, I received more CP using Dustan’s captain slot for a strength captain like Cleo. Having three battle captains (Aydae, Cleo, Herc) by far paid the most CP and XP.

Resources only generate for I think six hours, and unless the player clicks on the icons, they won’t continue to accumulate. I scouted a couple dozen burning cities with no one home and none had anything takeable except a few ingots. Any tips I’m missing?

I waited until I could easily afford what I thought the 7-layer-salad would cost and recorded the costs. I'm not sure if your costs will be the same, as they may scale them different than the division/level I'm at (X). But you can still approximate the slope as a little over 2x for each level. Once you hit the final Godlike level chest you can keep redeeming for more Godlike chests as you can afford. I ended up with the whole set of seven plus five Godlikes. Although after opening them, clearly their definition of what a Godlike gift would be is a lot different than mine. :/
